She had flames in Her hair and storms in Her eyes.
He had danger in His smile and a curse from the skies.
She had a smirk in Her lips and a gift untold,
He had a Minotaur horn in His hand, for the sea cannot be controlled.
She had a hat on Her head, forever unseen,
While He had a sword in His hands, something She hadn't foreseen.
She kept inside, searching for Him,
When he was across the country, trying to think of memories grim.
He'd met another, She knew that now,
Though they wouldn't be together, something She didn't know somehow.
While Her first words to Him told Him what they could be,
His promise to Her told Her they'd last for eternity.
Through nightmares and battles they were side by side,
and now they will face the final tide.
She will fall, as will He,
but together they will always be.
This is the tale of Annabeth and Percy,
Two whom even the Olympians deemed worthy.
