Chapter One: Nico
Today was Nico's third and final day in the infirmary. He felt fine and that Son of Apollo was annoying him to no end.
"How's it going," Will asked.
"Ready to get out of here," Nico said.
"You can check out in an hour or so and then go ... Wherever," Will told him.
"About time," Nico grumbled. Will didn't look happy.
"No Shadow Traveling for at least another week or two," Will instructed.
"Fine." Nico wasn't planning on it.
"No Underworldy stuff either," he said as he turned and went to check on the other people in the infirmary.
"Fine," Nico said. He had no plans to do anything strenuous.
An hour and a half passed before Will came back. "Well I guess it's time for you to get out of here." He looked at my chart and the wrote something down. The looked up at me with a smile and said, "There you go. All done. Now remember No Underworldy stuff for at least two weeks."
"but you said," Nico protested.
"I said two weeks, Nico. Doctor's orders." He got up and started to walk away. "Don't make me come with you to make sure you don't use any underworldy stuff." Then he walked off.
Nico got up and headed for his cabin. The place still had those horrible coffin bunks. He really needed to redecorate the place. Surprisingly, Percy was sitting on the porch waiting for him.
"Hey. All better," Percy asked.
"Yeah. Although Will said no underworldy stuff for two weeks."
"That sounds like a good idea. You looked as if you would disappear and not come back if you so much as sneezed. Now though, you look a whole lot better," Percy said.
"Did you need something, Percy," Nico asked.
"Just wanted to check on you."
"Percy, I am fine. No need to worry," Nico said.
"Look, about what you said about…" Percy paused and looked uncomfortable.
"It's no big deal, Percy. I had a crush and I got over it. You are not my type."
"Nico, I had no idea. I even thought you liked Annabeth. I was shocked that it was me… I just… I don't know…"
"I did not want you or anyone to know. Cupid sort of confronted me on it when we met. I had to admit it. Jason was there and that made it worse. I was embarrassed and angry. I didn't want to have a crush on you," Nico said.
"You're over it, completely then," Percy asked.
"Yeah."
"We can still be friends, right," Percy asked.
"Yeah," Nico answered.
"Ok, " Percy said as he stood up. "You need me for anything, let me know and I'll help anyway I can."
"Thanks, Percy."
"You're welcome. See ya around," Percy said as he walked off. Nico sighed. He walked into his cabin and looked around. This place needed a makeover, fast.
