"Hey, Alibaba."

The lounging blonde boy glanced to his side, where Kou's 2nd Imperial Prince was making his way towards him. He pushed himself up into a sitting position, one knee propped up with his hands on the ground to balance him.

"Oh, Koumei. Yo." Alibaba greeted with his usual cheery grin. "Is there something you need?"

Koumei's expression didn't change. The dull, pink eyes of the prince drilled into his own brightened golden ones. "Yes, actually." He nodded his head. "I wanted to inform you that my brother and king is holding a small meeting during the highest sun. He's expecting you to be there."

Alibaba tilted his head bemusedly. "Eh? Really?" He questioned rhetorically. "Where's it gonna be?"

"The garden in the palace." Koumei deadpanned. "I'm sure you know of it. It's the one full of trees."

Alibaba rose a bemused brow. Didn't gardens usually have trees, though? "What kind of trees?" He asked.

"Your favorite, actually." Koumei said. Alibaba's eyes squinted curiously. "Cherry trees."

Alibaba began to blank.

With a nod, Koumei obliviously continued. "Yes, there's gonna be cherries everywhere." He said, his face void of emotion. "So you'll fit right in."

What. Alibaba was rendered speechless.

Koumei's lip twitched upwards. "I'll even ask Hakuryuu if he will make you some cherry pie for the occasion. I'm sure you'll be hungry by then."

Alibaba continued to stare dumbfoundedly at Koumei.

Koumei hummed. If he noticed the boy's deadpanned expression, he didn't show it. "Then again, he and I aren't on the best of terms at the moment, so that might not be the greatest idea." From the corner of his eye, he could see the blonde boy seethed. "Oh. Is something the matter, Alibaba? If you are that upset about the cherry pie, I can just send a request to the royal chefs to bake one for you."

Alibaba was steaming, the 2nd Imperial Prince noticed, and he was almost sure that the boy was about to burst from overheating. Slowly, ever so slowly, did his mouth curve up into a lopsided grin as he restrained himself from laughing.

"...I HATE YOU SO FUCKING MUCH KOUMEI!"

The said prince guffawed loudly, as the blonde teen raged on, fire seemingly burning in his eyes. The red-haired prince did nothing to stop his laughs, as Alibaba glared, offended tears streaming down his face.

"BASTARD!" Alibaba roared, as he attempted to hit Koumei, who only laughed boisterously. "YOU LITTLE PIECE OF SHIT!"

Unfazed, the elder man continued to grin amusedly as he lazily dodged the weak jabs. "Well." Koumei tsked mockingly, as Alibaba attempted to punch him. "That wasn't cherry nice."

At that, Alibaba froze, with dropped jaws.

Koumei's grin broadened, as he turned away. "That is all, Alibaba. I will see you again at the meeting." He cleared his throat, resuming his stoic expression, only allowing a small quirk of his lips hint at his utter mirth as he walked away from the scene.

Behind him, the blonde boy known as Alibaba thawed out from his cold prison, eye twitching. With a clench of his fists, he let out a cry of utter shame and misery to the heavens.

"FUCK YOU KOUMEI!"
