Amy Pond, the lone red-headed, Scottish girl sat in class staring at the clock on the wall. Right on the dot the bell went off letting them free.

Books and binders slammed shut in a flurry of people as they scurried to the exit. Amy weaved through the crowd, trying to get to her next class as quick as possible. She didn't have to stop anywhere to talk to her friends. She didn't have any friends. Not anymore at least.

"Hey Amy!" someone called, "Have you seen the Doctor around! I need to ask him some questions about time travel!" snickers followed her down the hall.

It wasn't worth arguing anymore. They were never going to believe her. Her Aunt and Uncle signed her up for counseling. Again. They thought she had an 'imaginary friend'.

The Doctor came in the middle of the night. He crashed into her shed with his blue police box, which was bigger on the inside. He liked apples and hated baked beans and buttered toast. He loved fish fingers and custard. He fixed the crack in her wall. He was real.
