Na páistí an pheaca (children of sin) are the result of demons and mortals having children. Not any demons, the seven deadly demons, their sins are transmitted to their children. In Latin they are Luxuria, Gula, Avaritia, Acedia, Ira, Invidia, and Superbia. Commonly known in English as Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, and Pride.

The children of sin lose their mothers at birth, this is to ensure they will not learn of their true identity. The seven deadly sins are emitted through these individuals, as are the seven heavenly virtues. These children are important to the safety and balance of the world as we know it, without them nothing could exist harmoniously.

Plagued because of the sin they must carry, the sinful ones are also given an extra curse. Each sin is given a different cruse. Lust is given one eye blinded, Gluttony is given paranoia, Greed is given poverty at birth, Sloth is given insomnia, Wrath is given intolerable headaches, Envy is given hyperactivity, and Pride is given schizophrenia. These curses are to punish the sin not the sinners. As to which God does not have to punish every individual who commits these sins but only the 'sin' in the children.

Individuals around or in heavy contact with these children (both deadly and heavenly) gain pieces of their virtue or sin. Overexposure to either may cause death or eternal life, depending on the one that they meet. This makes love in either case rare and painful, none are everlasting.

These children have distinctions in their personality and in their physical traits. Only seven live on the planet at a time. They are kept in balance by their counterparts, the seven virtues. These children are born of God's own hands. Both sets of 'good and evil' are born on the same day and live their lives separate. No sets have ever met. No 'sinful' nor 'virtuous' children have ever met others of their kind.

The probability of meeting each other is so slim that it has never been looked at. Though if they were to meet and all the sins were in one place or the virtues in one place the event would be catastrophic. An all out war between good and evil, an apocalyptic event to say the least. Luckily that hasn't happened, luckily fate hasn't brought them together, luckily someone is watching over that. Luckily we are all still here.
