Chris Colfer's thoughts while writing the poem from the Klaine skit on glee live
Chris sat down at his desk and stared for a moment at the blank page before him. He had to write a poem for Blaine (or really Darren) as part of the tour.
He took a moment to go to the same place he went to when he was playing Kurt, trying to become the character so he could write what Kurt would write.
He decided to start simple:
Blaine Anderson
No, that wouldn't work.
Blaine Warbler Anderson
Definitely.
Kurt would then dive straight into pouring his heart out
I have never loved another
Well….
Except for last year when I was in love with my step-brother
He added. Now to go for the best compliment Kurt could bestow.
I admire you almost as much as I admire the late Alexander McQueen
Taking a moment to remember his favourite fashion designer, Chris then continued, and he wrote another compliment, something he knew he wouldn't be able to get through the poem without mentioning.
You're exquisite when you sing
Chris took another pause to think about all of Darren's performances before he decided to move on…. Or back to talk about Kurt and Blaine's past.
How I have missed our performances in the Dalton academy halls
The rooms, the bleachers
Actually….
Where the hell were all the teachers?
They really had got along well, Kurt and Blaine
We've seen everything eye-to-eye
Though they had had some rough times
All the pain, all the hurt
Uh-oh, this might be getting too serious
At least we did until my last growth-spurt
We've shared so many intimate moments
The fun the two of them had had.
Memories that shine in glitter
Just the two of us,
As well as...
Facebook, Myspace, Tumblr, and Twitter.
Kurt had been a lot happier this season than last
Since we've met it's been absolute heaven:
For your Emmy consideration 2011.
Kurt's got him there
But through all the glory, the scary, and the hype,
There is something Chris wanted to bring up in this
I swear to god I'm going to punch the next person who calls me a stereotype.
Getting back to Kurt's way of thinking
I'm so thankful to have found a partner as talented as me
And forever we shall be,
Not necessarily
For the last line, Chris wrote
Unless the writers change things in season three.
Just a quick one-shot, cause i felt like it, but i still want to know what you think
