Polly helped Ben raise the sail on the little let him do most of it as she knew nothing about sailing, but that was what today was for. She was determined to learn more about what Ben did.

"Duchess, would you mind handing me that cord over there?" Ben pointed at some cords at her feet.

She obliged handing him the cords. "Why do you call me duchess, Ben?" She looked at him curiously, and noticed he fidgeted a bit.

He let go of the cords and pulled her close. "Because you mean a lot to me Polly. Duchesses are graceful, intelligent, kind, and that's what you are Polly." He released her and grabbed a velvet box from his pocket. " I was going to wait until later but," he bent down on one knee, "Polly will you give me the honor of being my wife?"

Polly stared at Ben for a moment, tears at the corners of her eyes. She lowered her hand down and Ben put the ring on her finger.

He raised up and held her by her shoulders. "After everything we'd been through with the Doctor, I knew I never wanted to be away from you."

She smiled, "oh Ben I wasn't sure that you cared. I can't tell you how happy I am." She gazed into his eyes for a moment and kissed him. Two travelers no longer travelling but, settling.
