This is my first story….about the death of a great Uchiha...I also need a Beta Reader.
Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto or its characters
I looked into those red eyes and I saw nothing….
No hate, no love, no disgust, nor anguish.
Those eyes were dead…as dead as their owner.
He was my family.
The last of my once great clan.
But he was more than that….
He was my brother.
We had memories both good and bad.
Times of love and times of hate.
I loved him when we were little, though I hid it well, and…I guess I still love him…even though I should not.
We are so alike.
We shared so many things.
Those eyes of his…are just like mine.
We each were cold, cruel…both traitors seeking power for a goal.
He thought his goal was nobler than mine….maybe he was right.
He fought for himself…for his future and his past.
He was always strong…so very strong.
I thought he could truly kill me…but when the battle ended…I was alive and he was dead.
It was a fierce battle to the death…
We had both grown stronger…but in the end…I was the victor.
He thought he was stronger than me…for a while, I believed that he was too.
Now that you are dead….I can say the words; that I have always wanted to say, to you.
Now that you are dead….I can hold you.
Now that you are dead….you cannot laugh when I tell you that…I loved you and I still do….my brother.
I know I should not love you.
I know I should have shed these emotions…these feelings…but I did not and…I will not.
The battle is done and you, my brother, are dead.
So I will bury you and leave.
Go back to start my future…a future without you brother…
I love you, I admire you, and I will mourn your death on the inside…but it was necessary.
So, goodbye my brother.
You should never have become a traitor…
You never should have left…but you did…and now here we are…one dead and one alive.
We were happy once brother…you were happy…you should have never left your friends who became your new family…my foolish little brother.
He was my family.
The last of my once great clan.
But he was more than that….
He was my brother.
The only one I left alive.
