I was excited for tomorrow! I would be going to Emlin Point, the best place for vacation! There were nice, cozy log cabins, lakes, waterfalls, food supply, and obstacle courses! I knew that I would have a blast there.
When I entered the mine cart, I was grinning. The ride was a game of its own. It was supposed to last about two minutes. I pressed the button next to it, leaving the train station quickly. The city disappeared behind me quickly. I faced forward and enjoyed the whole ride there.
When I arrived, the only thought in my head was, "Wow." It was even better than in the book! Huge mountains stretched for at least fifty blocks. Waterfalls and lava falls streamed down into pools of each liquid. Cabins were clustered together near the water lake. I saw many fun things to do.
I grinned and exited the mine cart. I pressed the button to send it back. I was sure there were more people that were going to come for vacation! I walked to the cabins. I found one bigger than the rest, and went into it. Like I had thought, it was the reception area.
It had a nice feel to it. Red carpets were on spruce logs and couches lined the walls on the floor. I walked right up to the front desk, greeting a cheery-looking lady. She had long, straight blond hair and blue eyes. She had on a pink shirt and a green skirt. She appeared to be about eighteen.
"Hello!" I said. "Greetings!" She said with enthusiasm. "Welcome to Emlin Point! We hope you enjoy your stay!" I was glad the people who worked here were nice, but something was a bit off. She said "we" as if it could mean any other workers, but I didn't see any on my walk here...And I haven't noticed that until now.
But not caring to much then, I smiled back at her. "Thank you! Do you know where I will be staying?" The lady's grin grew wider. "Of corse! We offer many cabins! In fact, all of them are empty at the moment. But we know where our next guest will be staying exactly!" I nodded. She said "we" a few more times.
The lady's grin went down a bit. "If you are turkey staying here, you must pay. You do have payment, right?" She asked. Yes, I do. I had five diamonds and three gold. That's what you get when you go mining for a while! "Yes!" I said and handed her the diamonds and gold. She eagerly accepted them.
"Your cabin is on the other side of the mountain! Please follow the path to find it! Thank you, and have a nice time here!" I nodded and exited the building. I followed the stone path the lady must have been talking about around the glorious mountain. When I reached the other side, I only saw one cabin.
Why was there a bunch of cabins on the other side, but only one here? I shrugged and went inside. Up against the south wall, was an assortment of chests, furnaces, oak wood blocks, and crafting tables. To the east wall, was a bed in the middle of two bookshelves. To the west, was a TV. I smiled. Maybe that was really the resort I was going to spend a week at.
It was five by the time I had unpacked my sword, pick, armour, food, and provisions. It might strike odd to anyone that I would bring my sword and armour, but just in case...
Exhausted, I lay down on the bed to go to sleep. The next day, Day 1 would begin. And I couldn't wait.
A/N: How do you like my new story? Please let me know! This will be eight chapter long, beginning now! I hope you have a good rest of your day!
