Another original Theodore Tugboat story, this time it's "Tugboat Thanksgiving" Enjoy and comment.
All the tugboats in the Big Harbor was preparing for the annual Big Harbor Thanksgiving Day Parade. This year, all the tugboats wanted the parade to be a extra special success.
Then, the Dispatcher made a special announcement.
"As you all know." said the Dispatcher, "tomorrow is the annual Thanksgiving Day Parade here at the Big Harbor. I want everyone to take part, including Leland."
Leland was excited that he was able to take part in the festivities.
Later that day, Leland met Hank and Theodore.
"What should I do in the parade?" asked Leland.
"Well." said Theodore, "we'll all be carrying floats."
"What's a float?"
"A float is kind of like a decoration." explained Hank.
"But where am I going to get a float?"
"You could visit Scally. He always has stuff."
Leland liked this idea, and went off to find Scally.
Scally was surprised to see Leland again.
"Back for more stuff?" asked Scally.
"I need a float for the Thanksgiving parade." said Leland.
"A float?"
Scally didn't know what a float was, but he wanted to help Leland, so he went and came back with a rubber buoy.
"This won't work! I need something else, something creative!"
Scally knew exactly what Leland needed.
He went and then came back with a plastic turkey
"Here you go Leland! A plastic turkey decoration fit for Thanksgiving! The wings flap and his eyes move too!"
Leland loved his new decoration.
"Thank you Scally!" said Leland.
"Anything to help." replied Scally.
The Thanksgiving parade was a huge success, and Leland and his plastic turkey was the best in the parade!
