This actually came to me in a dream. XD So... I hope you enjoy it. I don't own Prince of Tennis or it's characters.

Please read, review, and enjoy! :D

"You were out late again, Hiroshi."

Yagyuu had just stepped into his house at around eleven PM. He had been getting home late because he'd been practicing with Niou. Yukimura Buchou was working them really hard. He didn't want to loose this year.

"Sorry. I'll try to get home earlier." Yagyuu said, nodding at his Dad. He was only worried, after all.

"Who were you with?" Yagyuu's father asked. He was sitting in the living room beside the lit fireplace.

"Just... a friend." Yagyuu said with a shrug, walking towards the stairs.

"A girl? Do we no her?"

"Him." Yagyuu automatically corrected. "And no, not offically."

"Who is he?"

Yagyuu was silent for a minute. "Niou Masaharu. He's my partner."

There was a bit of a silence. Yagyuu went over what he said, then rolled his eyes. "My Doubles partner, Dad."

Yagyuu's father let out a heavy sigh. He wasn't too thrilled about his son's three best friends. The soft spoken tennis captain who prefered males over females, the whore-ish boy who slept around sometimes, and the boy who payed so much attention to detail, that it could almost be considered stalking.

He had met Hiroshi's doubles partner, but didn't actually learn his name.

"You should be thinking about college. Maybe finding a nice girl and settling down."

That's what Yagyuu and his dad had been fighting about recently. Not college, because he had every intention in going. But the finding-a-nice-girl part. Yagyuu would much more rather find a nice house to settle down in with Niou. Not only were they best friends, but Yagyuu wasn't sure if he could live without him. He loved him. Even if he hadn't told him yet.

"I told you, Dad. I have every intent on going to college, but I don't want to get married." Yagyuu said, sighing. They've had this conversation about a billion times.

"Why not?" His father sounded frustrated.

"Because... Just because." Yagyuu hadn't told his father that he was gay. He didn't plan on it, either.

"Give me a good reason, and I won't arrange a marrige for you."

"There isn't a good reason, Dad. I just don't want to get married." Yagyuu said with a sigh.

Like always, this conversation ended up in a screaming match. It also ended up in Yagyuu's younger sister crying and his mother trying to calm everyone down. And, again, it ended in Yagyuu storming out the front door.

He was sleeping. Maybe. It looked like it, anyway. It was hard to tell with Niou, though. He was great at the whole acting thing. But he was probably asleep.

Yagyuu was standing on the roof that was outside of Niou's window. Jesus Christ, the boy was rich. Maybe not rich, but he sure as hell had enough money. He could of gone to Hyotei. Yagyuu was glad he didn't.

It didn't take long for the Gentlemen to push open Niou's window. And even though it was absolutely silent, Niou's eyes snapped open. He propped himself up on his elbows and rubbed at his golden orbs. "Mmm... Hiroshi?"

"Yeah," Yagyuu whispred, slipping through Niou's window. "Sorry to wake you."

"No, it's fine." Niou said, waving it off. "Did you and your dad fight again?"

"Yeah..." Yagyuu shut Niou's window.

Wordlessly, Niou scooted over in his bed and smiled.

Yagyuu slid in beside him and Niou curled into his chest. This was Niou at his most vunerable point.

"Thanks." Yagyuu whispered.

"Yeah, no problem." Niou murmured in reply. "Any time. You're my best friend, Hiroshi. I'd do anything for you."

When Yagyuu was sure Niou was asleep, he whispered, "I love you, Masaharu."
