Life or Death Survival

Hello. My name is Silver Jay Storm, or Jay for short. I am here to tell you about the day in my life that truly changed the world. The few survivors here, including me, have found the perfect name for that tragic day, it is Worldwide War of Death Day, or WWDD for short. It all started at 8:00 A.M. on February 22, 56839.

(School Alarm) "All students and teachers please report to the bomb shelter on the last floor of the school. A bomber has been spotted in this location. All students and teachers please report to the bomb shelter on the last floor of the school. A bomber has been spotted in this location. All students and teachers please report to the bomb shelter on the last floor of the school. A bomber has been spotted in this location…" At first, I thought this was another drill. We were in the middle of WWIII. It was North America, Australia, and South America against Asia, Europe, and Africa. We had been practicing bomb drills just in case a bomb was ever truly dropped on the school. I was placed in the far back of the big room that the school called the Bomb Shelter. I was with my friend Shadow Fire, and we were both talking about what we would do if there ever was a real bomb dropped on the school. Little did we know that what we were talking about would actually be what the rest of our lives would be like. After 2 hours, the teachers started making records on the top of each hour.

"11:00 A.M. No bombs have been dropped but the bomber is right above the school. All the students, teachers, and staff are safely located in the bomb shelter.

12:00 P.M. The first bomb has been dropped. The school is an inferno. We have kept all the students as far from the door as possible. The air is still breathable and the vents are still working. We are waiting for an all clear from the authorities.

1:00 P.M. Most of the Teachers and Staff have died from the nuclear bombs and smoke that is filtering slowly into the room, still waiting on an all clear from the authorities.

2:00 P.M. Head count: 2/45 Teachers, 0/100 Staff, 20/400 students. There have too many bombs dropped to keep count, most of them are nuclear. Are the authorities even still alive?

3:00 P.M. Head Count: 0/45 teachers, 0/100 Staff, 5/400 students. The bomber has gone away, but there is still too much nuclear radiation above the Bomb Shelter for it to be safe for us to leave. We have had contact with the authorities, and they are coming to get us. They said not to move and to keep the radio on.

I need 10 reviews on this before I make a new chapter! I want to make sure that I am pleasing my audience before continuing. Thanks for reading!

4:00 P.M Head Count: 0/45 teachers, 0/100 staff, 2/400 students. The authorities have found us and we are in a helicopter heading towards the little town that is the only place in North and South America that hasn't been bombed or taken over by the Eastern Countries. We will take refuge here until further notice. This is the last record that will be made, because only two students are left. Goodbye."
