So, this is all from Kyo's point of view! Yes, I've changed itsy-bitsy things around dialogue and such but that is to be accepted obviously. Feel free to review :)
I finally come home and what do I find? A dumb girl moving into my room.
What happened to a little respect, huh? Wait, what am I thinking? I'm a damn cat and will never have any respect from my so-called family.
What makes it worse is that I made the girl cry, which resulted in me feeling like crap. What made this ordeal 10 times worse was that not only was she a dumb girl, but a clumsy girl. She fell into Yuki, Shigure, and me, turning us into our zodiac counterparts. So she knows about the Sohma curse and makes a huge deal out of it everyday.
That was about a week ago and here I was, silently following that damn girl, Tohru Honda. I'm following Tohru because I yelled at her like a jerk at school, making her cry. The way her hurt eyes looked at me, it made me feel horrible. And to contrary belief, I do have a conscience. I'm not stalking her, I'm just trying to figure out how I'm going to apologize. So far, it looks like she hasn't noticed me but her pace has quickened. Now, if I could just figure out what to say…
Tohru suddenly flipped around and smacked me with her bookbag. Hard. Across the face.
"Ow! What the hell?" I yelled, trying to recover myself.
Tohru's face burned bright red and she dropped her bag, "K…Kyo! I am so sorry! I knew someone was following and…oh…I'm so terribly sorry! Forgive me!" She babbled apologies and just all around started to confuse me and my aching head.
"Tohru, shut up." I grumbled and her mouth snapped closed, "I'm the one making the apologies here, not you. I shouldn't have…yelled at you or whatever."
"Oh, no! Kyo its fine, I deserved it!" She smiled her sickenly sweet smile which just made me more frustrated.
"No, you deserved to hit me. You weren't trying to piss me of and..stuff," I shoved my hands into my pockets and looked at the ground. When I looked up, Tohru was staring at me with her big eyes, "What now?"
"You know Kyo, I understand why you're angry all the time." She shifted her weight but didn't break eye contact.
My eyes narrowed, "Oh, you do, huh?"
"Yes, I think so. You're the cat but the cat doesn't have a place in the zodiac. Well, my mother told me that story and, well, the cat has always been my favorite since then." She smiled at me again. I scoffed, Tohru was just trying to make me feel better. "Actually, I wanted to be the year of the cat instead of the dog. So, I guess you could say I'm your number one fan!" Her sincerity caught me off guard and I tried to figure out whether she was lying or not. Tohru wasn't the lying type though.
I just nodded and grumbled to keep on walking but what I neglected to say was that, her words really did make me feel a bit better.
