There Is A Boy
There is a boy.
His name is not important.
But this boy was always kind, always caring.
He had an older sister that he adored with all his heart;
A step-brother who loved all the things he did;
A pet who looked out for him more than he knew;
A mom who cherished him no matter what;
And a step-dad that treated the boy like he was his own.
There is a boy.
He had many friends.
He was always popular, and well loved.
His neighbor loved him, even though he didn't see it.
He was never picked on, and always stood up for those who were.
He got along with everyone;
Even when no one else did.
There is a boy.
He loved to make things.
His brother helped.
His sister didn't like it.
He didn't see that it was dangerous.
He gave new meaning to the word 'innocent'.
There is a boy.
They expect so much from him.
He's the idea guy.
He's the protector.
He's always smiling;
Always ready to lend a hand.
There is a boy.
There is, and there was.
He's pressured a lot.
But he took it while smiling.
He couldn't do everything at once.
He couldn't be everywhere.
But he did the best he could.
There is a boy.
That's really all there is to it.
I'm going to be blunt here. I'm a huge fan of KicsterAsh, and this piece was inspired by, and is dedicated to, her. It's also a bit of a birthday gift, since I heard her b-day's coming up.
You see, Ash is an amazing writer, artist, and, even though she's still new to it, animator. She's also great at inspiring people. She doesn't know it, but she's the whole reason I started drawing, which I don't do much because I'm horrible, and actually started producing some not half-bad stuff. She's also written some of my favorite fan fictions, like The Seer, and Return of The Hero.
Lately, she's been getting pressured a lot, and I know she's pretty upset. It's not like I know her personally or anything; I just like to read her Deviantart journal. So when I read it today, I was sad, and inspired.
So I wrote this. Phineas and Ferb is one of Ash's main fandoms, and so, as one of my heroes and favorite authors, she gets the honor of having my very first PnF fan fiction dedicated to her.
I hope you feel better, Ash. You really are amazing. Even when you say you're not, you are. You write, you draw, you animate, and you inspire. You're exactly the type of person I want to be, and I hope that when I grow up, I'll be like you.
I hope that doesn't sound creepy.
Penelope, over and out!
