Creation

This is the beggining of a long line of Star Wars stories that I have created myself based on the life of my own created character: Áedán Romano. I will begin these stories with Áedán's childhood...

Áedán looked around the vast jungle world of Kashyyyk and closed his eyes as he took in the warmth of the sunshine as it flowed through the branches of the overlapping trees that grew above. He tried to remember the strange dream that he had been having the night before... He remembered feeling light, and carefree and the sensation of warmth spreading throughout his body as though his heart had been replaced by the sun. And yet, he had felt a growing sense of urgency and fear as the dream progressed. Then suddenly, the warm and feelings of peace disappered and was replaced by an eerie feeling... Instead of warmth he was cold all over, and he felt suppressed with a heavy and ominous feeling that clung to his body. Yet, strangley, he felt extremely powerful, as though nothing could stand in his path. Then a womans' cries filled the air wrenching him out of his brief stage of power and dominance. The cries of the woman became louder, and louder, and increasingly more terrifying until Áedán himself began to scream out of fear for the woman.

Áedán opened his eyes as he tried to shake off the disturbing nightmare. He then remembered that today was his thirteenth birthday and that he was now officially considered a man within his village. He was practically oozing with excitement! He ran back into his family's hut and found his mother making breakfast and his father preparing to go with the rest of the village to go and hunt for food. His father looked up at him and smiled.

"There's my young man!" he joyfully cried. He ran over and ruffled Áedán's hair with his fist. Áedán jokingly shoved him away.

"Da! I'm a man now, you can't treat me like I'm a little kid anymore!" he pronounced

"Yes, you may be a man now but you'll always be my little boy," his mother told him affectinatley.

"Ahhh, Ma...," Áedán crosses over and hugs his mother as she begins to cry.

" Well i dont mean to break up this touching moment, but Áedán and I have to go hunting now," his father proclaims proudly.

"What! You mean i can go hunting now?"

"Hahahaha! Well of course you can son, your a man now it's your duty," his father tells him proudly.

"Yes! This is gonna be the best birthday ever!" Áedán cried out as he ran to his room to collect his woodsman clothing. Áedán's father turns and looks at his wife with pride and love in his eyes. He strides over to her and embraces her as she begins to cry again. Áedán comes out of his room woodsman clothes and weapons already strapped to him.

"Ok, lets go Da, I'm ready for this!" Áedán tells his father. His father chuckles and they leave leave the hut to go and meet up with the rest of the village. They arrive shortly and the village elders begin discussing the food shortages of certain animals and informs them to catch these type only. Áedán is very eager and soaks up every word like a sponge. When the elders were through discussing the hunting matters they left.

"So Da, do you think we are going to catch anything?" Áedán asked

"That my son, is entirely up to you," his father informs him.

"What do you mean?" Áedán asked.

"It is custom for a new man of the village to kill his animal with his father only supervising, I may give you no help," he told his son.

"Ok, I'll do my best Da," Áedán told his father. His father nods, and watches as Áedán gets a look of determination on his face as, with spear in hand, he walked into the deeper undergrowth of the jungle...

Okay guys, I know that was a little boring to read but it will get better next chapter, as Áedán discovers the Force...
