Nice Going Romeo

Pidge woke up to the sound of something making contact with the side of her house. She laid in her bed, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes as she debated even getting up to check it out. But her curiosity got the better of her and she forced herself to leave her warm bed sheets.

"I swear if it's the neighbor's kids again I'm gonna kill them." She threatened in low growl as she grabbed her Bayard that she kept on her desk beside her.

As she made her way to her window, she was about to peer over to see who it was when a small object crashed into her bedroom. Pidge gave a yelp of surprise as she turned around to see what it was, it turned out to be a small rock.

"Sorry! I'm so sorry about that Pidge!" Came a familiar voice from outside. Pidge groaned in irritation as she walked over to her now shattered window to find her Boyfriend Lance on his bike rubbing the back of his head awkwardly. "I didn't mean to do that! Honestly!"

With her eyebrow twitching in suppressed anger, Pidge took a deep breath before calling down to him. "You're lucky my family is out right now at an event for Matt or else they would kill you."

"I tried calling you earlier but you didn't pick up. So I tried getting your attention by hitting your window, but I guess I threw that rock a little too hard." Lance admitted as he leaned his Bike up against the fence of the Holt residence.

No matter how much she wanted to, Pidge couldn't stay mad at Lance for very long considering he practically grovels when he apologizes to her. So she gave a sigh of defeat as she called down to him, "You do realize that I didn't answer because it's the middle of the night right?"

"Yeah I thought that might've been the case, but I also know that you're a night owl." Lance responded with a shrug of his shoulders.

He was right of course. Normally she would be up at two o'clock in the morning working on her technology, but because of her all nighter that she pulled the night before and her long day at school, she could barely keep her eyes open. "So I went to bed earlier tonight, bite me."

"Maybe I will if you come down here." Lance teased as he blew kisses up at her, causing Pidge to blush at him.

Chuckling at her response, Lance walked up to her window and raised his arms. "Oh Juliet come down to me!"

"Romeo you're a fool!" Pidge teased as she played along with his charade. "My father would kill thee if he saw what you've done!"

Lance shrugged his shoulders as he grinned up at her. "It's a risk I'm willing to take if it's for you."

"You're such a hopeless romantic!" Pidge replied as she face palmed. "But I guess you're my hopeless romantic."

Lance blew a kiss up at her. "You know it."

"I'll talk to you more tomorrow. If I stay awake any longer I'm gonna turn into a walking zombie and it'll be your fault." She declared to him as she leaned over and blew him back a kiss. "Oh yeah, you're also going to be fixing my window tomorrow."

With that final statement she walked away from her window and tucked herself back into bed. All the while grinning over Lance and how much of a dork he was. Lance stood outside of her window just a little longer before turning around with a smile on his face as he walked back to his bike to ride home.
