I just gave Lexi breakfast. My mom is with us in Chicago today and I just turned on my camera. Lexi is playing with her breakfast right now. "What are you doing?" I ask my daughter.
Lexi doesn't respond. "What are you doing?" My mom repeats for me.
Then Lexi eats a little bit of her toast. "Can you say 'hi' to the camera?" I ask my little girl.
"Hi camera," Lexi says.
I laugh. "Can you say 'Hi Aunt Harper'?" I ask.
"Hi Aunt Harper," Lexi says.
I laugh. "I wanna say 'hi' to Tommy," Lexi tells me.
"Okay. Say 'Hi Tommy'," I tell Lexi.
"Hi Tommy," Lexi says.
Then Lexi hides under the table. "Lexi, come back," I giggle.
"Olivia," Lexi corrects me.
"Olivia," I repeat because it was cute.
"I wanna say 'hi' to Beck," Lexi tells me.
"Say 'Hi Beck'," I tell my little girl.
"Hi Beck," Lexi says.
"Can you say 'I love you'?" I ask Lexi.
"I love you," Lexi says.
I laugh. "I wanna say 'hi' to Uncle Justin," Lexi tells me.
"Say 'Hi Uncle Justin," I tell Lexi.
"Hi Uncle Justin," Lexi says.
"Can you say 'hi' to Quill?" I ask my daughter.
"Hi Quill," Lexi says.
"Can you say 'I love you, Aunt Harper'?" I ask Lexi.
"I love you, Aunt Harper," Lexi smiles.
"Awww!" My mom smiles.
"Can you say 'bye' to the camera?" I ask my baby girl.
"Bye camera," Lexi says.
Then Lexi walks away. "Sit down, Olivia," My mom plays along.
"Sit down, Olivia," I tell Lexi the way she wants to hear it.
And then she sits down.
THE END!
