iHola! New story. Weee! This little plot bunny hopped along after I read like 12347097 all-human fics. So I thought I'd give it a shot, and I really like it. I even made an outline, which is weird for me, but I really want to finish it. Unless everyone hates it, in which case, I might not. So please, don't hate it!
If I was Stephenie Meyer, I would not be a freshman in high school that just broke up with her boyfriend. (:
Introduction--
Dear Diary,
Ahh, it's that time of year again! School's starting up, and I couldn't be more excited. Seniors, Class of '09, baby! I've waited so long for this day to come. Just ten more months until I'm free as a bird. Adulthood, here I come. I cannot wait to get away from this dumpy town and into the real world, the world outside lonely Forks, Washington. I want to experience the thrill of riding elevators to floor 27, smell the sweet, sweet smell of fast food, and live in the moment of everyday traffic jams.
Although, there are some things I'll miss about this place. For one, my father, Charlie. I feel kind of bad, actually; soon I'll be leaving him alone again, just as my mother did all those years ago. My reason for leaving is totally better, of course, but still. The man can't cook anything past cold cereal, nor can he find matching socks. How is he going to survive without me?
And I'll miss my friends, Angela, Mike, and Jacob. Sure, Angela's a little nerdy, Jake gets on my last nerve and yeah, Mike has had a crush on me for almost ten years, but they're the most genuine people I know. Except one.
Emmett. Ahhh, sweet, darling Emmett. My world practically revolves around his dimples, his eyes, his laugh, his personality and his ah-mazing body. Yeah, yeah, I know, it's sad. But guess what? I don't care. I love him. And he loves me. We've been dating since freshman year, and we've always been really close friends. I trust him completely, and I really hope we last forever.
I might miss the closeness Forks comes with. Everyone knows everyone; it's like one happy family. There has never been anything to worry about around here either. We don't have big city crime or drama, and that's kind of nice. But I think that everyone's lives should come with a little thrill, some scare-you-out-of-your-pants action, and maybe even some tragedy. And let me tell you, there isn't any of that here.
Unless you're me of course. Danger lives with me, I swear. I'm always tripping, falling, bruising or breaking something. Emmett said once I was like a bull in a china shop, everywhere I went, but that it was okay because he liked fixing it. Have I mentioned that I love him?
Anyway, I can't wait. I just know this is going to be the best year ever.
Oh, Charlie's home. Time to make dinner. Fish tacos! Mmmm.
With love,
Bella.
I know it was short, but it's just the beginning. You needed to know where things were starting. So? Like it? Love it? Hate it? Review, and make my day, por favor.
