A/N: Okay, so this is my first fanfic and it's supposed to be an alex rider/harry potter xover. But the Harry Potter part isn't up yet. Soo... Hope you like it!
Disclaimer: I don't own Alex Rider as I'm not Anthoney Horowitz and I don't own Harry Potter as I'm not J.K. Rowling but to do own Mr Thompson and Antonia. Too bad they aren't going to come up very often.
Chapter 1
Nobody POV
It was a gloomy day. The clouds covered the sky, and there wasn't a patch of blue to be seen. Ironically, this reflected Alex's mood. Alex Rider was no normal teenage boy. In fact, he probably wasn't a normal human either – who had ever heard of a normal person literally saving the world half a dozen times? Alex Rider was the one and only teenage spy. However, currently he was pretending to be an average teenager in a rather dull math class. He let his blonde hair fall over his eyes as he watched Mr Thompson drone on and on about equations.
Alex POV
Why on earth am I learning equations with a teacher who can't hold a class' attention for over five minutes when MI6 is probably just going to call me back in again to do their dirty work? I internally sighed. I had to admit. This was better than any assignment that MI6 would come up with.
Nobody POV
It was at that moment when a young year seven girl appeared at the door with a message. "Come in," called the teacher, pulling everyone out of their individual daydreams. The girl quickly walked over to the Mr Thompson, handed him the note and left abruptly. Mr Thompson's eyes scanned over the short note.
"Well, Alex, you need pack your things, there is someone waiting in the office to take you to your doctor's appointment," he said.
"Yes, sir," Alex replied as he put packed up. Once again, he inwardly groaned. He knew that the person was from MI6. He also knew that he was probably going to be learning a new identity by the end of the day.
As he walked down to the office (the math rooms were on the second floor and the office was on the ground level), he wondered what it was going to be this time. Perhaps it was a crazy drug baron truing to take over the world. Or maybe, it was another mad money making scheme from SCORPIA. He shuddered. He hoped not. Last time it was Snakehead and SCORPIA put together. In the end, he had: (1) Stopped a bomb from going of which would have devastated the west coast of Australia, (2) Saved the lives of thousands of people, (3) Been related to the death of another SCORPIA member, (4) found out that his god father was responsible for killing his parents, and the grand finale (5) watched as his god father got shot. He was quite a cliché.
When he finally got to the office, he put on his best; I don't want to go to the doctor's look. "There you are Alex, I hope everything goes well," said Mrs Bedfordshire with an encouraging smile.
"Thank you," replied Alex, he smiled back at her but she was not convinced. There was a forlorn look in his eyes that gave him away today. She was sure that Alex probably needed to have a surgery or something more drastic than just a check up. How very wrong and right she was.
Alex POV
I didn't realize that there was another woman sitting in the far corner until she stood up. Her beige outfit blended into the walls and there was nothing to say that she worked for MI6. I followed her outside. As soon as we were out of hearing range and sight of Mrs Bedfordshire, she held out her ID to me.
Name: Antonia Waters
DOB: 15/8/1985
Company: MI6
I couldn't be bothered to read any more. After all I knew that it was real after seeing the cards in the "bank" before. We walked towards a black car and stepped in.
The ride to the Royal and General was still and silence filled the air. I wasn't going to be to one to break the silence so I continued to stare out of the window.
"Agent Rider," she finally said. "We will drop you off outside and you will go up to Mr Blunt's office yourself."
She looked at me as if she was waiting for confirmation so I offered her a nod. I didn't want to talk.
Nobody's POV
The lifts pinged as Alex walked out and towards Blunt's office. He was not looking forward to this.
A/N: So, how do you like it? I promise that it gets better. Please review!
