I've been here a thousand times. I've seen the heavenly view time and time again, yet it never does get old. I have learned to appreciate the view from the tree outside Edwards old room more, now that I can hear, see, and sense so much more. I'm a vampire. Yes, the once clumsy and reckless Bella Swan that broke her hand attempting to punch her best friend in the face, is now a strong beautiful, and graceful vampire. Impossible. Almost.

I have faced so many challenges, from running from vampires, to marrying one, and becoming one. I think it's safe to say that I'm familiar with the concept of immortality. But one thing that I learned over the years of immortal monster problems, is that forever doesn't always last… forever. This small detail has popped up in that troubled mind of mine many times before, but this time I wasn't thinking about avoiding. I was thinking about how this… factor could simply be pushed aside and ignored when it had destroyed some of the greatest beings to ever walk the face of the earth.

Victoria. James. Edward had killed, no that's not the right word… disassembled them both a few years back. Somehow, they had found a way to reverse death and become some of the most powerful vampires on earth. And naturally, they were coming after me. What a surprise. This, of course, is harder to deal with now that I have a daughter, which while I love her dearly, is only making my life harder.

As I began to slip into my usual state of panic, I felt two freezing cold arms slip around my waist and pull me into a rock hard chest. If neither of those belong to my husband a certain cocky, short brown-haired vampire was about to get a nice left hook in the face. "What's on your mind?" I knew the voice well. Edward. One person I could not live or die without. I smiled into his navy blue shirt. "What do you think?" I ask as casually as I can. "Victoria" that one word sent horrible shivers down my spine. "Good guess" He chuckled. "It's like I'm physic" He raised an eye brow at me and I couldn't help but laugh. " Why does that not surprise me?" I asked in the same playful tone. " Why, I have no idea." I laughed one last time before nodding towards the house. "We should get back before Emmet teaches Renesme every curse word in the world in yet ANOTHER language." "Yeah, I think she finally knows a word in French that I don't" " c'mon" "alright." and with that, we run back to the house laughing the whole way.
