I toss my backpack at his bed. He flinches and opens his eyes.
"Get your lazy ass out of bed, Jacob David Black. I need to talk to you and I only have fifteen minutes." I stalk down his hallway. His face tenses when I round on him.
"I can't handle this anymore. I just can't." I manage to say.
"Handle what?"
"Me and you, you and her, her and him! It isn't fair to me."
"I love her,"
"She doesn't want you! When are you going to pull your head out of your ass and see that?! You just...you make me so mad-" I stop myself, taking a deep breath, "Look, I didn't come here to yell at you. I came here to tell you that you have a choice to make. Your Imprint or Bella. Don't make the decision now. I'm giving you two months, Jake. My aunt asked me to come live in Nashville with her for next school year. Her boyfriend runs a record label and wants to sign me. She's giving me until July 6th to decide. You have until then to decide as well. Don't call me or text me or contact me in any way until you know. Don't guard my half of the house." With tears running down my cheeks, I turn around and start out. He grabs my wrist in his too warm hand and stops me.
"Please let go of me. Just because you're a wolf, it doesn't mean to have to act like an animal." Jacob slowly releases my arm and I leave his home.
"Stop. Please." Seth mutters.
"Don't. Just-Just don't." I sprint down the driveway and get into Jess's car as we drive back to FHS. The crying only gets worse until we reach the school. I reach the door handle at the entrance at the exact moment Edward pulls up.
"Beth. Come here," he pulls me into a freezing hug. I sob into the godawful yellow graduation gown.
"Ssh. Let's get you inside. Okay?" I let my great-great-great-great uncle lead me into the gymnasium with Jacob on my mind and my heart in tiny pieces.
Own Nothing!
