"Welcome to the world, you little cuties!" Will Schuester cooed, coming into the hospital room with a bunch of balloons and two pink stuffed animals. One baby had been a shock- they would never forget the day that sixteen year old Quinn Fabray tearily announced to the William McKinley glee club that she was pregnant. But two babies? That was completely unexpected- even for their mother.

"It would have been the perfect day if we had won", Quinn voiced, holding six pound, eleven ounce Katy Charlotte in her arms.

"We already won", Noah Puckerman voiced, holding six pound, seven ounce, older by five minutes Bethany Leigh in his own arms.

"Aw, Puck", Rachel Berry smiled, running a finger over Katy's cheek. "They are so, so beautiful".

"More than beautiful", Mercedes Jones said, holding out her arms for Bethany.

"Welcome to the world, little ones", Emma Pilsbury said, keeping her distance from the babies but smiling all the same. "Quinn, they are truly beautiful".

They had expected to end the day with a Sectionals win. Instead, they had come out of the day with two beautiful infants.

"Are they the new club mascots?" Finn Hudson beamed, Katy resting in his arms.

"We had old club mascots?" Brittany Pierce's eyebrows furrowed together in confusion.

"No, honey", Santana Lopez said in a voice she reserved only for the blonde, Kurt Hummel and Mike Chang chuckling.

Tina Cohen-Chang smiled at little Katy, Finn taking a seat in one of the plastic seats so everyone could see the newborn.

It had been the perfect day- and, for the William McKinley glee club, was the start of a round of perfection.

Another year of glee, despite the conditions they had entered Sectionals under. The year in which they battled their hardest, finally making it to Nationals in New York City, leaving behind Lima, Ohio. With little Beth and Katy making an appearance at every single glee rehearsal and performance, Finn declared them their good luck charms, lifting Beth over his head.

They celebrated the twins' first birthday the day they returned from New York, in the choir room. Chocolate cake and balloons, wrapping paper littering the floor. In Will Shuester's eyes, they owed the club to the two little girls. But, despite the perfection that 2011 had given them, 2012 was when it started to fall apart.

Quinn and Puck, despite their status, started to fight. And not little fights- big fights, standing on opposite sides of the room and screaming. So, upon graduation, they decided to part ways.

With Quinn and Beth heading to New York City with Rachel Berry in tow (persuing her Broadway dreams, like they all knew she would) and Puck taking Katy to California, they decided that parting would be for the better. They admitted they still loved each other, and loved their kids more than they would ever know- but they weren't in love.

Quinn had wondered many times if they had ever been in love. She was sure they were, but sometimes she doubted it.
All she knew was that her younger daughter lived on the other side of the country with her father, living a completely different life to the one she lived with Beth.
