AN/ There was a prompt on tumblr I saw and I couldn't resist.
Also, yeah I haven't started that collection of one-shots yet, but I have written a bunch of one-shots. The only problem: they're still stuck in my head. Some day I'll write them out on paper.
You know the drill: I don't own Sonny With A Chance, or channy or anything like that. I hope you guys enjoy though :D
Chad Dylan Cooper stared at his Sonny Munroe in shock.
"What is that?" Chad Dylan Copper pointed to the 'thing' in Sonny hands.
She glared at him before grinning contently. "A puppy. Isn't he cute?" She clutched the pup, and buried her face in its fur while he made a face of disgust.
"Are you sure it's a dog? It looks like a rat that found a can of hairspray." He remarked while Sonny hugged the dog even tighter, and glared at her boyfriend.
"He's a pup and he's ours now. Mine," she emphasized, "if you're too much of a jerk to want him."
Chad rolled his eyes. "I'm not being a jerk it's just," he grimaced, and gestured at the dog. "It smells and has flees."
Sonny gasped. "Take that back, and besides he's not an it: he's a sweet little puppy dog that has ears." She hardened her glare at him while rocking the pup back and forth.
"You know we can always drop him off at a shelter or something." Chad suggested, still disgusted by the animal and confused at why Sonny seemed to love the dog-thing so much. She narrowed her eyes at him causing Chad to feel incline to add, "We can make sure it's no kill if that'll help."
Sonny didn't buy it. "No, I'm keeping him," she declared and stuck her tongue out at him. "I think I'm gonna name him Lucky Jr. after my old dog or maybe…" She continued to think before an idea hit her and she did a little bounce in her seat. "We could call him Cutie! You like that, cutie? Yes you do, yes you do," she cooed, and grinned.
For the second time in five minutes, Chad rolled his eyes.
Chad Dylan Cooper stared at his Sonny Munroe in shock.
"What do you mean we have to leave little CDC here?" Chad pouted and crossed his arms as he sulked.
Sonny laughed. "And a week ago you called him a rat with hairspray. Oh, and I'm pretty sure we agreed his name was Spotty." Sonny pointed out, her smile never fading as she spoke.
Chad groaned, "He doesn't even have any spots, and I was wrong, happy?"
"A bit," Sonny admitted, and leaned forward to give him a small peck on the lips. "Now come on, we have a plane to catch."
Chad nodded and leaned down. While the two of them had been talking Spotty had raced into the room with his favorite chew toy in his mouth, and dropped it at Chad's feet in hopes of a game of fetch. He bent down and rubbed Spotty's head. "Sorry boy but I and the misses, "He turned and winked at Sonny who rolled her eyes, "have to head out. You'll be a good boy, okay?"
Sonny smiled, and laid her head on Chad's shoulder. "Aww, my two men. Now come on," She jumped up and held her hand out. "We need to hurry. We don't want to miss our flight."
He nodded and stood up before taking her hand in his. As they started out the door they said their goodbyes to Spotty. Out the door Sonny leaned against Chad, and peered up at him with a soft smile before saying,
"Let's go get married."
AN/ Well there you go. I feel like the ending was a bit rushed but I kinda liked it. If you likes it please review and/or fav. It'd mean a lot to me if you did either one (or both, both is good too). I hope you guys have a good day :D
