This is a poem that I wrote in school one day when I was bored. It was inspired by the song Passenger by OneRepublic (which was clearly written about Doctor Who). I wrote it about a companion of the Doctor's that will be featured in some of my upcoming stories. The funny thing about the Doctor is how he tangles himself up in his friends' lives and how he finds that he needs them just as much as they need him. I hope you enjoy it. Please leave your reviews.
Here goes nothing:
Companion
The day that I met you
The first day you saw me cry
You already knew me
I guess I never asked why
You showed me a world I never knew
How could anyone resist?
A rescue from the normal
You gave me reason to exist
You saved my life
There were stars in your eyes
Your gravity, it's my drug
I showed you your lies
You needed me
Why don't you know why?
Just tell me this time
You'll always be mine
Even the days you weren't you
Always remembering less
Somehow we thought it could work
Why'd I let it get like this?
All the battles we fought
The things that I learned
The years that I lost
for you
for us
The lightening that struck
Love you never knew
A night in the stars, my love
he looks like you
We look out for you
always waiting for a sign
that you're still watching
that you're still mine
