Rachel and Kurt were the first ones in the choir room that afternoon. They glared at each other from over the top of their respective phones.
"I can't believe you like Lion King over the Little Mermaid," muttered Kurt. "I mean seriously, it's a classic tragic love tale!"
"Pun intended?" smirked Rachel.
Kurt gave her a bitch glare before his own smirk formed at the corner of his lips.
"Pun not intended, but relished nonetheless."
Rachel giggled.
"You know, Blaine would make the perfect Prince Eric."
Kurt sighed. "He would, wouldn't he?"
Rachel nodded. "Though you'd never make a good merman I'm afraid."
Kurt pouted. "And why not?"
Rachel got up from her seat on the first row and went over and stood by Kurt in the back, pocketing her phone.
"Now let's see…" Kurt still had on his outer jacket closed, since it was freezing in the hallways with the snowstorm that had come through. She unzipped it while he sat there, looking confused at her actions.
"Outer jacket, inner jacket, t-shirt, long sleeved dress shirt, t-shirt under that… is that an undershirt?" asked Rachel as she pulled up his clothes underneath. Kurt yelped at Rachel's lack of indiscretion.
"Yes," he muttered. "I'm cold-natured, okay? I also have on three pairs of socks under my boots."
Rachel laughed. "Now I'm wondering what you have on under those pants." She loved to tease him.
Kurt blushed. "None of your business."
Rachel giggled. "Back to my point. Too many layers. You'd never survive being shirtless."
Kurt rolled his eyes as he zipped the jacket back up. "At least the water's warm."
"If the Little Mermaid took place in the tropics, sure. Why do you think Sebastian has an accent?"
A dark shadow crossed Kurt's face. "Let's not mention Sebastian please."
Rachel nodded. The boy was still a hot button topic.
"But to our discussion, I could accessorize?"
"Where would you pin your broach?"
Kurt looked down with a frown. "A valid point."
"See, you'd be a terrible merman."
Kurt laughed, his eyes dancing in amusement.
"But you my dear would make an awesome Ursula."
"Oh, so you want me to steal your man and your voice huh?"
"No," said Kurt. "Though seeing you sing 'Poor Unfortunate Souls' would be amazing."
Rachel smirked. "Seeing you mute would be fun." Kurt's mouth gaped and he arched an eyebrow, reaching behind him.
"Hey!" Rachel ducked as she saw sheet music being thrown her way with a giggle.
No one bothered to ask when they walked into the choir room and saw Rachel and Kurt singing "Part of Your World." Impromptu performances were their usual habit, and this was no different.
"GAAAAAAAAY," yelled Santana as she and Quinn walked in arm and arm. Brittany shrieked and ran to Rachel.
"Can I be Dory?"
This sent the choir room into a fit of laughter. Santana took her girlfriend by the hand and shook her head no.
When Will Schuester entered the room, he was surprised to find all the girls plus Kurt leading a rather loud performance of "Under the Sea" with the Jazz band. He decided to let them finish as he sat down next to Artie. All the girls were pretending to be mermaids, much to the amusement of the boys in the room. Kurt had grabbed Blaine, who was pretending to swim around like a fish and spun him around. There were not going to be many more times they'd all be together like this, and even if they were doing a Disney movie, it was still magic to see them laughing and singing all together.
