AN-Just a little Literati one shot that's basically my perfect Gilmore Girls ending.

It's You: A Rory and Jess Story
Rory's POV:
I was laughing and talking with everyone at the amazing graduation party the town put together for me when I looked out across the street and saw someone standing there that I hadn't seen in too long.
I walked over towards the diner where he was standing and called his name.
"Jess?" I said.
"Hey Rory," he said.
"Hey," I said hugging him.
"So, how are you?" he asked.
"Good," I said. "You?"
"I'm good," he said.
"So, written any more books?" I said.
Jess smirked and said, "No, I think that was a one time thing."
"Well, you never know," I said.
"So, you graduated?" he asked.
"Yeah, I did," I answered.
"I knew you would," he said. "Harvard or Yale, I knew you'd graduate and that you'd be great."
I smiled, then asked, "Jess what are you doing here?"
"I came to see Luke," he answered. "And my mom, my sister...and maybe you."
"Really?" I asked.
"Yeah, really," he said. Then he smiled at me and continued. "I've really missed you Rory."
"I missed you, too," I said. I took I deep breath, then said, "You know, Logan and I broke up."
"Really?" he asked. And I almost thought I heard some hopefulness in his voice.
"Yeah, at graduation," I said.
"Really? Why?" he asked.
"He asked me to marry him and I said no," I answered.
"Wow," he said. "Why'd you say no. I mean, last time I saw you, you said..."
I cut him off. I didn't want to hear about the last time I saw Jess. "I know. But I'm not ready to get married. I don't even know if I'm in love with Logan anymore."
"Well, then you really wouldn't want to marry him," Jess said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Well, I have to go," he said.
"Ok," I said.
"Bye Rory," he said.
"Bye Jess," I said.
The he started to walk away, but I called after him.
"Jess, wait!" I said.
"What?" he asked.
"You can't leave yet," I said.
"Why not?" he asked, walking back over to me.
"Because I haven't told you...I love you, Jess," I said.
"What?" he asked.
"I love you. And it took my awhile and a lot of other guys to realize it, but I'm never going to get over you. I'm always going to love you," I said.
Jess smiled, then said, "I love you, too."
Then he kissed me.
After we pulled away, I said, "You know, for awhile, I thought that Logan might be the guy that I belong with, but he never was. It's you, Jess. It's always been you."
He smiled again, then kissed me. And I never wanted it to end.
