So this is my entry to the age old iCarly five senses challege.

Challenge 1: Write a short one-shot scene in the POV of your favorite iCarly character, in which they realize something new about themselves. Describe everything they feel by using the five senses (see, hear, smell, taste, touch) in great detail. Make the reader see exactly going on through the character's eyes.

Deadline: October 25th, 2009

Yes... I noticed the deadline was up more than a year ago, but I thought this was a cool challenge and decided to take it up! Hope you enjoy! P.S. If you're reading my story, Set Me as a Seat Upon Your Heart, Cassidy Shay Benson is one of the names I'm considering for the baby in that story. Care to help? PM me for suggestions!

Disclaimer: Me no own iCarly. But if I did we'd have very different results in iStart a Fanwar! (No useless speech at the end.. I mean the reason half the teens in the world watch iCarly is for shipping... I think... Well that's why I started... now I just love the show. But sorry shutting up! On with the tale!)

XXX
Sam's POV

The room was bright and white, too bright for any normal human eye. So I wondered how such a tiny little person could endure it by simply squinting. She was all I wondered about now. In this moment in time she was all I could think about. Who would she grow up to be? Who would she look more like? Me or her father? Brown eyes, or would they stay blue. I looked up at Freddie for a second. He was beaming. Those warm, molten chocolate eyes glistening. Our eyes met for a moment and he spoke volumes with the way he was looking at me. He leaned down and kissed me deeply and filled my senses with... him. His warm mouth hinted with the chocolate bar he had eaten for breakfast after staying all night at the hospital. When he pulled away, I was left with the cold, overly sterile smell of the room. I cradeled my newborn baby girl closer to my chest and smiled and the warm, powdery scent she was giving off. She was so small,so soft, so... squishy, so beautiful. She cooed and gurgled while squinting up and me and her daddy. And then I realized something.

I was a mom.

I was her mother.

I would be wearing mom jeans one day.

But I wouldn't have it any other way.

Welcome to the world Cassandra Shay Benson.
