"Ekko? What if things never get better?" you asked. "Don't say that!" Ekko raised his voice at you. You flinched, looked down, and sighed. "Ekko, I'm just too scared. What if we die out here? We're too young to die!" you said.
Ekko looked at you, put his arm on your shoulder, and said, "We won't, doll, we won't. I can assure you of that. Here, look at this. It's a device that I've recently created.
I call it the Zero-Drive." Ekko placed his invention in your hand. You looked at in in amazement.
Ekko told you that it can turn back time. "Ekko, this is brilliant! Now, I just wanna go back to when I was born…" Ekko's jaw dropped instantly.
"No!" he screamed. "I can't lose you too!" Ekko began to blush, realizing what he had just said. "What's so bad about Piltover?!" you screamed at him, not caring about what he just said.
"EVERYTHING!" he yelled back. You stared at Ekko with wide eyes. Tears began to slide down your cheeks. "I only came here because I was lost! Do you understand how much I miss my family?!" you shrieked.
"I know…" Ekko said silently. "I'm sorry. I don't recall of ever having a family. My only family was you, Jinx, and Vi." Ekko shivered. The memories of Vi and Jinx leaving haunted him horribly. Ekko began to acknowledge your kindness and beautiful self after Jinx and Vi left.
Eventually, he fell for you, but he never said anything because he feared you'd leave or that you might not love him back. You decided to head back to your, as well as Ekko's, shelter. You slumped down in the corner and began to sob.
You really missed Piltover, and you knew the way there. Thing is, you didn't want to disappoint Ekko. You really liked him after all. As Ekko was getting ready for bed, he saw that you had fallen asleep. He laid your head on a pillow and covered you in a blanket.
He stared at how lovely you were. His heart beat quickly. There was one thing Ekko had always wanted to do. He closed his eyes and leaned in, kissing your soft lips. He blushed madly. "Goodnight, doll." Ekko whispered with a proud smile.
