Day 1

Abbadon, they told me the name was from the bible, but it sounded to evil to me to be from that Holy book. After being raised by raiders, you get to read a lot of snippets from various books, shoot at lots of things, blow up tons of stuff, and fight for your life.

Day 4

Being in only one clan for most of your life is something to be proud of here in the wastes. I was part of the Skull and Ax clan for the better part of twenty five years before we were scattered. I was told that the clans were like the biker gangs from the past but I don't see how. They rode motorcycles around and we kill things.

Day 8

Found an outpost today, not sure who used to live here but it stinks like a dried out swamp. Found an ax that was in better shape than mine, and an old Russian looking rifle. Have to try it out when I find out what type of ammo it takes.

Day 9

Roving trader called it a Mosin. Said it takes 7.62x54r. Time to go back to that outpost to see what they have. Jackpot! 5 old army cans full of ammo for that rifle. Now just to test it on something. I think I remember seeing a few old messed up cows a half mile back. . . . Well now I know it can kill a cow. And bruise my shoulder. But at least the thing works. Looks like it hasn't been cleaned since before the War, though. After I sell some of this cow I'll be buying some cleaners.

Day 13

Found a new town to trade in. Looks like it used to be called Louisville. Looks like it used to be big before the Scavengers and Destroyers hit it. The Scavengers are a group that steal anything they can get their hands on. Literally. Fallen enemies body parts, sleeping enemies money and gear, parts of buildings, doesn't matter, if they can lift it, they steal it. Then there's the Destroyers. They happened across some left over artillery after the War. They bomb towns for the fun of it, and after that just rush in guns blazing, killing anything that moves. And this town got hit by both.

Day 15

Louisville was actually a bit of help. I found a cheap room, lightened my load by trading gear and junk for some coins, bought some ammo, and replaced my 1911 for a .44 Magnum. All in all it was a pretty good trade. Even got rid of some old ammo for some ammo for the new revolver and some rifle ammo. I found an abandoned camp site outside of town. Looks like the Scavengers got here before I did though. The only thing they left was an old duffel bag and one of their own dead, naked with about 5 bullet holes in him.

Day 20

I'm glad I kept that duffel bag I found the other day, came across a pretty good haul from a tipped over truck. Had loads of ammo, a few grenades, and an old set of military body armor. If this duffel bag ever gets shot while I'm holding it, I'm a goner though. Stumbled across an old house that had a couple mutants in it, they looked as surprised as I did to see another living thing besides an animal. I was faster on the draw than one, it's amazing what a .44 will do to a mutants chest. The other opened fire from some rusted over toy looking gun just as I ducked for cover behind the wall. I could feel the bullets flying by me as I sat there. After I heard the empty mag drop, I rolled into the door way and put a bullet in his brain pan. He ruined my left sleeve of my coat, but one did have a better knife than mine. I can barely make out the word "Ka-Bar" under the blood. Desperately needs cleaned after I check the rest of the house.
