Chapter 1 Green Eyed Mystery
*Flash, flash of the cameras.* That's all Harry could remember. It's been a year since the catastrophe at the ministry occurred. Sirius. Dead, killed by Bellatrix, who was now at the top of his most hated list. Not even Voldemort could out do her, now. She had killed the only family he had left and he was going to make her pay. He wasn't sure how, but he would.
As he was flipping through the newspaper, while sitting in a local diner, he heard a scream. A scream he only seemed to hear. Everyone else were fiddling with their food and meagerly reading their papers not noticing the siren of a scream that bounced off the walls of the little diner. Maybe that was a sign, a calling, for him to follow, or reach out too. He stood up eagerly from the four corner table and quickly walked out onto the cobblestone dreary streets. He looked left and right, but didn't see anyone but a couple passersby on their way to Sunday night church.
Another scream, it sounded like it was just down the way. He ran shuffled toward the bellowing scream that echoed of the street corner and shot right at him almost pulling him toward it. He walked into the little alleyway. "lumous" he whispered. The ball of light wavered around the alley showing nothing but a trash can and a couple of alley cats. He sniffed the air. It smelled very vaguely of… blood? And blood it was. Shivering on the floor of the desolate alley was a young girl, about his age maybe younger. She had black flowing hair and piercing green eyes. As he looked down at her he noticed she was bleeding pretty badly out of her chest. She had deep gashes all over her chest and belly. It looked almost if an animal had attacked her. All harry could think of was that it had to be some kind of dark magic because no one human being could of caused that much trauma. This definitely was caused by a wizard. And a dark wizard at that. He decided to do what no wizard would have done in this situation. He picked up the what seemed like muggle girl and disapirated to the burrow. He couldn't take her to the hospital because muggles wouldn't be able to save her from this dark magic. He knew the Weasley's would know what to do.
"Don't worry you'll be okay, I'm going to get you help" Harry comforted the girl as he waved his wand in the air and disappeared into the black.
