Sherlock came in the house, red eyes and traces of tears on his face.

"Sherlock, what's wrong?" john asked

"I thought you were at the surgery today?"

"Nope. I quit remember? What's wrong though? You- you look like you've been crying. Come and sit down." john patted the sofa next to him and Sherlock sat down. "Now. Tell me what happened. Yeah?" Sherlock nodded and took a shaky breath in.

"They asked – asked us why they didn't have grand-children yet and Mycroft answered first saying that he was busy working and hadn't found the one yet. Mummy turned around to me and said you can't use his excuse this time so what's yours? I-I couldn't lie anymore so I just I told them…"

"Sherlock what did you tell them? Are-are you okay?" john asked.

"Fine. Just… tell me, why don't you like harry?"

"She left her wife for drink… Sherlock, I think I know what you're getting at. So no I do not care if you are gay, straight, bisexual or Asexual. Nothing will change unless you want it to…" Sherlock nodded.

"I said I can't have biological children, they looked at me confused then Mycroft said oh and smiled at me. He wasn't being unkind though. But they still didn't understand so I said mummy I don't like to date women. I- I'm gay. And they-they…" he burst into tears, sobbing into his hands. Sherlock was pulled to the side. He was pulled into john who hugged him and shushed him for a while until he calmed down. "they disowned me John." he whispered. "they… my parents… the ones who are supposed to love me… or at least pretend to 'cause no one can love me… they disowned me."

"I know where you're wrong… I know someone who loves you." Sherlock looked up at him with tears in his eyes

"who?" he asked before sobbing again.

"I do. I love you and nothing is going to change that."
