"The Covers Fall"

A/N: Long behold one of my strangest works yet: an Eric and Roxanne story. It's not a lemon or anything. It simply suggests some things about both Eric and Roxanne. This makes no sense at all. Consider yourself warned.

Disclaimer: I don't own 7th Heaven or the title to this, which comes from the Kylie Minogue song "Some Kind Of Bliss". Full lyric is: "Study my reflection and let the covers fall".

"Reverend Camden…he just refuses to go home and see his did!" Roxanne snapped.

It was a Friday afternoon. Roxanne had come to the church to talk to Eric about helping her to convince Chandler to go home and see his dying father. And lucky for her, Chandler was not at work that day.

"Roxanne, we can't force him too," Eric explained through gritted teeth. He had been trying to get that through this woman's head for the last twenty minutes!

"He's my boyfriend, he'd do anything to make me happy. Even see his dad who he hates," Roxanne said with an oddly sly smile.

"Roxanne, all humans were created with a free will. And that free will includes the right to say no," Eric said as he held back his annoyance.

"Reverend, you underestimate my power as both Chandler's girlfriend and a woman. Right now, I am what is keeping Chandler standing up ever since he found out about his dad. I have him eating out of my hand for well…everything. He's spineless right now and will do it if I want him too," Roxanne said. Her sly smile started to grow wider.

"Roxanne, I think we need to drop this now. It's not up to you or me to decide if Chandler goes to see his dad, it's up to Chandler," Eric said and rolled his eyes at Roxanne's last sentence. Honestly, what does Chandler see in her? Eric asked himself.

"And that's where you're wrong…" Roxanne replied in a low, dangerous voice.

"And what do you mean by that?" Eric asked a bit worried for Chandler's well being at this point.

"I'm his girlfriend. He loves me and wants to marry me. He's like a puppy when it comes our relationship. Why do you think I haven't said I'll marry him yet? It makes him sweat. It makes him want me more. Why do you think I won't sleep with him? It drives him insane that I make him wait and control his emotions like that," Roxanne said in a way that sounded quite evil.

"That's…that's…" Eric was at a loss of words.

"Perfect. I know. They say that behind every great man there's an even greater woman, and I can vouch for that. I am the one who controls mine and Chandler's relationship. I act cutesy and sweet on the outside, but inside, I am a, dare I say, dominatrix," Roxanne replied with a grin.

"Well…uh I don't know what to say, really," Eric said. He was too shocked for words to say.

"Good, you'll help me then, Reverend. By next month we'll have Chandler on a plane to see his dad," Roxanne said and walked out of the office.

Now Eric knew what Chandler saw in Roxanne: nothing at all. She pulled him right to her. She had total power over him, so to speak.

And now, Eric had this odd feeling of emptiness in him. Maybe he needed Roxanne, too.
