Druxy - Something which looks good on the outside, but is actually rotten inside.
Anna was confused by Saruhiko. She had seen the former red clansman a few days ago on the street and tried waving in greeting, but he'd just turned away without acknowledging her.
She knew he wasn't a bad person. He had been fairly quiet during his time in Homra, but even after his betrayal he was still kind. He helped Anna that time she got stuck behind a vending machine, and let her visit Basashi in the Scepter 4 stables. He had been Misaki's best friend.
The young girl recalled hearing the phrase 'bad seed' which piqued her curiosity.
Tugging on Izumo's sleeve, the last remaining founder of Homra paused from cleaning the wineglass in his hands and looked down at Anna. "Ah, what is it?"
Anna mulled over her question for a few moments before speaking. "What do you do when a fruit goes bad?"
The bartender looked confused. "Y'throw it out. If it's gone bad and you can't eat it, there's not much else y'can do," he explained.
Anna frowned a little, not pleased by that answer. "What if.. the fruit has a seed?"
Izumo set the glass down and leaned against his beloved bar slightly, humming in thought. There was always more to Anna's little questions like this. "Well, I s'pose if the seed hasn't gone bad and y'have enough time t'take care of it, you could plant it, an' see if it bears good fruit."
That seemed to work for Anna, and she gave a small nod. "Okay."
The tall blond stared after the girl as she walked off. He could just barely hear what she said next, in another room. "Misaki, how much do you know about gardening?"
