He cursed quietly. Just the other moment he was at the front gate to Akari's farm. He had spent three days attempting to find his second home, only to have his curse beat him with a stick at the last moment. He saw her waiting for him at the front porch. Waving to him, smiling at him, welcoming him home after a long absence.
And when he glanced down for but a moment to pick up his bag of gifts, he had found himself here. Again. On an island in the pacific. A momentary distraction and Ryoga once again found himself thousands of miles away from his sweetheart.
It wasn't fair, he groaned. His curse of misdirection had kept him away from happiness, and now his curse of the pig was once again threatening his well being. Stuck in the middle of the ocean with no idea of how he arrived or of how he had left (the last time), it just wasn't fair.
Glancing around him, he saw nothing but miles of white sandy beach, undisturbed by man. He sighed and removed his backpack throwing it to the side. "Oof," was the sound that followed.
Wait, what? Oof? Ryoga quickly spun to his side.
He was greeted to the amusing sight of a rather young girl lying in the sand, flailing as the weight of his backpack attempted to crush her. He made a move to rush over to her side, when all of a sudden the girl and his backpack disappeared.
Only to suddenly reappear several feet in the air and fall to the ground. His backpack landed first (fortunately), with the girl lying on top of it.
Ryoga paused to consider what he had just seen. This girl who was just previously being crushed by his backpack had just... teleported herself and his backpack into the air. Had just suddenly appeared on an uninhabited island in the middle of the pacific ocean.
"How... how did you get here?" His voiced asked, strained with disbelief. Did this girl have the same curse as him? Did he find someone who too, was cursed to always be lost?
The girl picked herself up from atop his backpack. An pair of emerald eyes gazed at his, seeming to question his presence there as well. A cute smirk formed on the girls face as she answered him.
"Why I just jumped here. Didn't you?"
