Under the Rain

They raced through the streets, the rain soaking them through and through but she didn't care. It felt good, even if they were being hunted. She stopped running to catch her breath, hands on her knees.

"We've got to keep moving," he prompted.

"Just a minute."

He gave her an anxious look. What was she doing? He tugged on her arm but she pulled away.

"I haven't been caught in the rain since I was little," she said.

He raised an eyebrow. She smiled at him. "It's kind of romantic."

They shared a kiss before taking off.
