"Tohru, I need to tell you something…"
Tohru turned around only to see Yuki, looking at her intently.
"Tohru…I…um…do you want to go somewhere this Friday?" said Yuki.
"Sure! We should invite Momiji and Haru and Shigure and Hiro and Hisa and Ritchan and Isuzu and Kyo!" Yuki's face went black at the last name, though Tohru didn't notice because she was making sure she didn't miss anyone.
"No, I don't think you get what I mean. I mean like a date. I really like you Tohru. So will you?"
Tohru froze. I don't want to hurt Yuki's feelings, but I just don't like him like that. The only person who I like or more o love is…no, don't even say his name. He doesn't like you like that. Remember that Tohru.
"Um… Sure I will, Yuki. It sounds like fun." Yuki was to excited that she said yes to hear the tone in which she said it. A very bland and sad tone.
"Okay. Great! Let's meet after school?" And with this, he ran off, his brain reeling with all the different outcomes the evening might bring.
Tohru sat on the roof, dreading her date with Yuki.
"Ah, I thought I heard someone up here, though I have to admit, I never thought I would be the one to find you up here," a voice from the ladder said. Even kyo's voice made her a little bit happier, but it was too late. Kyo saw the tears that were flowing.
"Tohru, what's wrong?" Kyo said in a very concerned voice. I hate it when she cries. I just want to she her happy like she usually is.
"Nothing. I…It's just…Um…Something is in my eye and it is making it water."
"Tohru, I thought you could tell me what was bothering you." Maybe some tea would make her better. "One sec. I'll go make some tea."
Before Tohru could say that she was fine without some, Kyo had disappeared down the ladder and into the house.
"Tea, find some tea," Kyo muttered to himself finally finding two packets of green tea. He began running back to the ladder only to be stopped by Yuki's bragging.
"I told Tohru I loved her and she said she loved me, too. We're going out on Friday," Yuki said, watching Kyo turn red with anger. He pretended to ignore Yuki and continued to the roof.
"Here you go Tohru," Kyo said with a tight voice trying to contain himself setting the cups far away from them so he didn't feel the urge to chuck one at something. How could you? Yuki? Him? Anyone else would be better than Yuki! I would be better than Yuki! Tohru, I…I…I, but Tohru's voice cut him off from continuing that thought.
"Kyo, are you alright?" Tohru was worried she did something wrong to make him upset.
"Yuki told me," Kyo said, not able to say anymore if he didn't want to explode at Tohru.
"Oh. It just…I don't…I DON'T WANT TO GO!" she screamed, mad that she said yes in the first place and also mad that she felt she couldn't do anything about it.
"Wait, you said you don't want to go?" He could barely believe his ears.
"No," Tohru said in a quiet voice. "I would really rather go with someone else." She said, giving Kyo a sideways glance.
Kyo noticed this and said, rather hesitantly, but with a smile, "Does he happen to be on this roof?"
Tohru looked at him happily, "Yes. Yes he does."
Kyo hugged her, not caring if he transformed and, POOF, an orange cat appeared on Tohru's lap.
Tohru didn't care so much about what had happened with Yuki. She was a little worried what he would do once he heard her say no to the date, but she would have Kyo there, protecting her from now on.
So how did you think it was? I am really bad writing with Yuki, so if he seems a little out of character, sorry. I don't think I am going to put up another chapter on this one. I might write another story off of it, though. Thanks for reading and please review!
