Hey guys here's another story. My creative writing teacher wanted us to write a story about our pain, but while I was writing I just sorta made it to Usagi's P.O.V. I mean nobody could be that pure so maybe there's some hidden pain inside her cheerful facade. If she could face the world with a smile at the worst of moments, I can surly bet you that she could fool the world. Even her friends and family. It might be suckish, but I tried my best. So here it is...

Cuts, Lies, And Bruises:
By: Juliet Taylor

She walked away trying to hide the pain.
She faked a smile hoping no one on would notice.
Notice the suffering in her eyes.
The misery when she smiles.
An invisible tear falls down her precious face.
But nobody notices.
Nobody sees.
The lonely world that she feels.
She's just so broken and fed up.
Like a doll hanging limply
With only a thin strip of string to hang her up.
Then they turn around and ask if she's alright.
So she puts her best smile forward and nods.
But when they turn away
The hurt clouds over her eyes
As she proceeds to smile
A broken smile.
And of course they don't notice.
They never did,
And they never will.
They will never see that pained, broken soul inside her
Slowly dying
With every second.
Little by little
The damage is slowly eating her alive.
And as her heart swells with sadness
She pretends to laugh
At Minako's jokes.
Yet they couldn't hear the bitterness in her laugh.
They couldn't even hear a difference.
She smiled faintly
As she watched the clouds roll by.
They were so free, open, free to do whatever they please.
Everything she's not.
Some things she could never ever be.
She could be dirt though.
Always stepped on, mistreated, always envious of those around her.
Nobody could ever see how important it was too.
Just like nobody could ever see how important she was.
The lives she's saved.
The things she's had to sacrifice.
The childhood she never had.
The love she never found.
The friends she never kept.
The dream wedding she will never receive.
The freedom that was taken away.
The happiness she had to give up.
All they could see were her flaws.
Her mess ups.
Her mistakes.
Protectors, they called themselves.
'More like enemies' she thought angrily.
They were supposed to be her protectors
The people who were supposed to take care of her from anything.
But they're destroying her instead.
Crybaby they say.
She's given up so many things,
Seen so many things,
Been through so many things.
Wasn't she allowed to cry?
Lazy, they say,
She was always used to being late.
And like they say,
Old habits die hard.
Ditz, they say,
It wasn't her fault that she always tripped.
It wasn't like she wanted to.
Lack of maturity, they say,
She was still a kid at heart
And she always will be.
Stupid, they say,
It wasn't that she wasn't smart.
She just had to solve harder problems
Than some stupid math problem.
You're not anything like Serenity, they say,
Well that's easy to answer.
That's because she isn't nor will ever be Serenity.
She is Usagi Tsukino.
Nobody else.
Once Serenity comes
She, Usagi Tsukino, will die.
Sometimes she wonders why she even bothers to live.
It's not like her life will be any meaningful anyways.
But then a sudden sound disturbs her from her thoughts.
It was the sound of children laughing.
She grins slightly.
That was the reason.
It was for the kids with the innocence she once had.
They didn't deserve to die.
They deserved the childhood she wanted.
'So suck it up for them' she thought,
As she forces out a bright smile
When Makoto announced that she made cookies.
She made herself eat all of them.
And she tried to cover her cuts, lies, and bruises
They will never know anything about her.
And what's the point anyways?
They never even did from the start.
