Don't own Victorious

But the storious

is mine Mine MINE MINE! ((evil laugh))

"Honey," Billy Vega said to his daughter, "what are you doing with my tools of the trade"

"I was trying to figure out the bird scene," Tori said frustrated throwing the item down on the couch like it was a book-bag.

"Ah yes the bird scene," Billy said with a smile dancing on his lips, "I hated that"

"Sikowitz won't even tell me what I'm doing wrong. How am I supposed to pass the bird scene without knowing what it is I'm doing wrong?

"I mean would you just do something and not explain why? No! Of course you wouldn't. No sane person would!"

Billy motioned for Tori to sit down.

"The bird scene seems hard," he said, "but it's actually quite easy and you don't have to scare Cat to do it. You see the point of the bird scene is to believe in your own choices. It doesn't matter who approves and who disapproves. What matters is that you approve of your own choices. That comes in handy in real life as well as in the theater.

"There were times where I had to make decisions that made me very unpopular. I knew that it was the right thing to do so I did it even though it wasn't right in other people's eyes"

"Like what," Tori asked.

"There was the time that I didn't let Trina go to the party that she wanted to go to because there weren't going to be adult supervision or when I insisted you had the medication you needed even though it made you feel awful when you took it"

"But dad I needed it," Tori said, "I would have died without it"

Billy Vega nodded.

"Exactly," he said, "do you think I was happy to make you take that medication? No I wasn't. But I knew you needed it. Oh and do you remember when my friends thought I was playing favorites with the situation with Trina and Krimpit?"

"Yeah but they were being idiots," Tori said

"Yes they were but I still didn't care what they thought."

"Dad, you never question your decisions?"

"Everyone does Tori but it is important to do what you feel is right even when you question it.

"If you have proof later that you're wrong you just atone for what you did."

"How do you atone for it," Tori asked

"By apologizing," Billy explained, "and by doing what you can to make it right. Most people think that it's not important to admit when you're wrong but it is. Mainly though it's important to believe in own choices"

3rd time was a charm for Tori Vega. She finally passed the bird scene. Finally she knew what she had to do. It was simple. She had to believe in herself and her own choices.
