Besides the shaky first half of the first season, the 100 has been phenomenal. I had to do a song for it, and it turned out pretty well in my head. You can judge for yourself whether it turned out any good in paper.
Verse 1:
We fell. The Hundred. Meant to save us all
We fell. One by one. Just confused and lost children
We fell into their games and now we only lose
We fell into a war where we stand to lose everything
Chorus 1:
No matter what I do there is always some new threat
I try to look out for my people, but someone always ends up dead
I don't know what's good anymore
I don't know who to trust anymore
I don't know what to believe in a world where blood must have blood
I just want to end the death, the war, the suffering
I just want to give the ones I love some semblance of peace
I'm done with killing, until inside there's nothing left
I'm done with killing, except for killing my regrets
My regrets
Verse 2:
We rose. A new threat. To the people of the ground
We rose. A family. Never going to let our brothers down
We rose. Together. Unified by our home
We rose. Together. But didn't realize together we would fall
Chorus 2:
No matter what I do there is always some new threat
I try to look out for my people, but someone always ends up dead
I don't know what's good anymore
I don't know who to trust anymore
I don't know what to believe in a world where blood must have blood
I just want to end the death, the war, the suffering
I just want to give the ones I love some semblance of peace
I'm done with killing, until inside there's nothing left
I'm done with killing, except for killing my regrets
My regrets
Bridge:
Came from the Sky
Crashed to the Ground
Reborn in Flame
Once Light is found
Came from the Sky
Crashed to the Ground
Reborn in Flame
Once Light is found
Chorus 3:
No matter what I do there is always some new threat
I try to look out for my people, but someone always ends up dead
I don't know what's good anymore
I don't know who to trust anymore
I don't know what to believe in a world where blood must have blood
I just want to end the death, the war, the suffering
I just want to give the ones I love some semblance of peace
I'm done with killing, until inside there's nothing left
I'm done with killing, except for killing my regrets
My regrets
