"I can't believe it! You used to like dinosaurs!" Riley exclaimed.

"That was before I learnt how dangerous they are!" Gray argued. "I'm with Malcolm, they have to die before they kill us!"

"I beg to differ!" Riley shouted, silencing Gray.

"You tell him, Riley!" The emotions shouted in support.

Riley continued, "I came to you because I thought-foolish, right? I thought that you of all people would try to save the dinosaurs! You're the expert!"

"We're meant to study them in the rock as fossils! Not in the flesh!" Gray retorted.

Riley stared in amazement at him before saying, "Wow. Time does change people. I'm leaving in the morning with Claire and two members of the Dinosaur Protection Group and there is not a thing you do to stop me."

Riley began to walk off, but Gray stopped her by reaching out to her arm.

"Don't go," he pleaded with a soft voice full of concern. "It's a suicide mission. Aunt Claire has lost it. It'll be impossible for the mission to succeed. It's idiotic to even trust these people she's going with."

After a long pause, Riley left Gray with, "I'd rather be an idiot than to let these animals die."

Riley then yanked her arm away from Gray and left to prepare for the next day...
