HEY! So, I had this up on a different account but some stuff happened and I needed a new account. I'm re-uploading and improving on each chapter. Enjoy, and review and favorite. Thanks for reading!

Draco watched from behind a group of second year Hufflepuffs as Hermione made her way to Charms without scarhead or the ginger at her heels and with her nose in a book. The sea of their peers split around her, pulling the ignorant first years out of the way. Every other Hogwarts' student was accustomed to either moving or getting bumped into. Occasionally, they had to yank new kids out of the bushy haired Gryffindor's path. Her distracted state worked in his favor as he waited for her to fall behind the others. Once she was a safe distance away, he snatched the book from her hands and twisted away before she could reach for it.

"Hey!" She yelled. "Give it back, Malfoy." He backed away as she approached him. Draco was well aware of what damage she could cause, even without her wand, and he figured it would be best to keep a good amount of distance between them. Though, he felt confidant his body was safe from her fists because her hands were planted firmly on her whole stance was pretty sexy, in his opinion.

"Why would I do that, Granger?" He questioned while examining the cover of the worn and nearly dingy book. The mares and scratches gave proof of her adoration of her constant companion . "Hogwarts: A History?" He raised his eyebrow at her, not at all surprised by the book.

"Yes, not that it matters to you, but it's my favorite . Now, I'll ask one more time. Give. It. Back."

"Not to be a twat about it, but you never really asked for the book back. It was a very demanding. Now, try again, but this time with a bit more feeling." Draco teased and held the book over his head and out of her reach, hoping she would jump for it and her chest would rub against his. Yeah, he was a sick fuck, but no one really needed to know that.

"Yeah, well, you are being one. Hand over my book or I'll let you get acquainted with my fist." The color drained from his face as he remembered the blow he received from the small girl in front of him. In his brief moment of distraction, she jumped up and retrieved the book from his hand.

"Ha!" She exclaimed triumphantly, while holding the book as though it were a trophy . "Now, If you'll excuse me," She didn't finish the sentence as she turned on her heel and started back down the hall.

"Oi! Where the hell are you going!?" He called after her retreating form. He was a bit angry that she could easily steal the book back from him then walk on her merry way away from him, unaffected by his being, while he was left with a flame of curiosity that she had sparked.

"Class, Malfoy! If you had any sort of common sense, you'd go too." Draco growled and kicked the stone brick wall, and went the opposite way.

"If I had common sense I would want to rip your heart out, not fucking own it."
