Part 3 - The Reveal

Craig and Jp were once again propping up the Bar at the Dog and once again bickering over their so called relationship and the fact that Craig has still not dumped Sarah.

"Craig to be honest I've had a shit day at home everyones been rowing and I just want a quiet drink. I couldn't give a stuff at the moment when you say you're going to do it mate because at the end of the day actions speak louder than words". Hearing Craig repeat the same sentence over and over were beginning to take its toll on JP.

"Fine if you wanna be like that I'll piss off and go and help behind the bar, I know when I'm not wanted". Craig grabbed his pint nearly spilling it all over himself.

Craig was still making the same old promises and still breaking them at every oppurtunity but little did they know that by the end of this evening everybody would know their secret.

"Hey Spike how you doing mate, wanna drink mate" Jp was glad to see him and grateful of the company since Craig had left him feeling like a billy no mates.

"Hey mate I'm good, all the better for seeing you". He winked in a cheeky way that made JP remember what had attracted him in the first place.

Craig scowled from across the Bar then looked over and gave a false grin as if to say Hi but he couldn't really be bothered to say it.

"Christ that blokes always got a face like a smacked ass lately, no wander you're always on another planet having to hang around with him all the time" He ruffled JPs hair as he said it and stroked his arm on the way back down.

The two chatted for ages as the pub filled up and for the first time in a while JP relaxed and became in a very flirtatious mood as the beer was swigged one after the other. Frankie & Jack were behind the Bar, Sarah and Hannah arrived together and all the usual suspects from College were there, there was a great atmosphere on this hot humid summers evening.

Spike looked at JP intensely "So are you missing me yet?"

Jp smiled "I'll let you know when I do ok".

Spikes hand moved to JPs leg and Jp quickly glanced to see where Craig was, he may have pissed him off but JP didn't like to upset him on purpose. Luckily he couldn't see him and presumed the moment had been missed.

Unfortunately the moment hadn't been missed and Craig was seething. What was it about JP that made him feel this way, why couldn't JP just tell that idiot Spike to get lost after all its not him he loves its Craig.

Spike moved closer and didn't feel in the mood for giving up on JP, they had something good once surely it could happen again, he touched JP's cheek with his hand and looked into his eyes "i miss you".

JP felt bad, he new he had treated him badly and never wanted to hurt him so he smiled back and said "yeh, me too". He wasn't lying he did miss him but more for his company as a good friend than anything else.

Craig glared from behind the bar struggling to stop his anger bubbling to the surface but when he saw Spike move in closer to JP's lips he suddenly forgot where he was.

Jp jumped from the sound of smashing glass behind him as Craig leapt over the Bar knocking everything to the floor.

Spike felt a hand at his throat and nearly fell back off his chair "Get your fucking hands off of him, can't you take a fucking hint he loves me not you". The Bar felt silent and it took a few minutes for Craig to realise the situation.

JP could hardly speak "Craig what have you done?".
