A/N: Hello, it's me again. Harry Potter again, for the Weekly character appreciation challenge and the One Word challenge. This week is Dean Thomas, as most of you know is my favourite character.

Word: Forgot

Disclaimer: Harry Potter is JKR's. If it were mine it would be nowhere near as good and Malfoy junior and senior would have died instead of Snape and Fred.

The Painter and His Seer

Dean often wondered how Parvati knew he would ask her out that first time. He asked her once whether she foresaw it but she would smile a knowing smile, laughing while shaking her head. Dean was usually pretty reserved for a Gryffindor, and rarely showed emotion on his outward features, so he presumed it wasn't that.

The first time he asked her out it was to the Yule Ball and was saddened to hear that Harry had beaten him to the punch, before later that week grumbling to the man in question and his best friend about the fact that they got the two best looking girls in the year.

The second time he asked was a few years later, after Ginny had dumped him for Harry (which he knew was coming anyway) and she smirked at Lavender before replying with a yes, the upcoming Hogsmeade weekend a perfect opportunity to go on their first date.

They went to the Three Broomsticks, had a Butterbeer, whilst talking about school and wondering what was up with Malfoy this year. A quick snog was had and they left the building with smiles on their faces, unable to hide their happiness about the date.

When Dean found out all of his family was dead after the war he wept for several days, Parvati getting him through it with her soothing tones and soft hands. That night was the first time they made love together.

He proposed at that same spot of their first date 5 years later, knowing that she would have already known even if she hadn't foreseen it (he had brought Seamus ring shopping, who told Lav everything, and Lav couldn't hold a secret to save her life). She had smiled and replied yes, not surprised at all about it and he suspected that it was Lav who told her.

On their wedding night, Dean asked Parvati how many kids she wanted. She replied that they'd have three kids, two boys and one little girl, which Dean knew he would be over protective of. He asked her about the names, but she simply shrugged and said "Forgot".

Their three kids were eventually named Mario, Simon and Jennifer. Mario was two years older than Simon, who was 11 months older than Jennifer. Mario was in the same year as Albus and Rose, whilst the younger pair were in the same year as Lily and Hugo.

A/N2: Love it? Hate it? Please tell me in a review! I know I didn't really emphasize the fact he was a painter in this, sorry.
