In the world of Pokémon, there are over 700 different species and trust me from experience there are no two who are the same. With different types, personalities and natures, Pokémon have their own unique lives. This has the potential for different combinations of friendships and partnerships.
The way you live your experience and the friendships and partnerships you make is up to you. If you would please just take a minute and sit right there. My journey will flow from my mouth to your ear.
Chapter One.
The World is My Cloyster.
"BZZT" "BZZT" "BZZT" His electrode alarm buzzed. "BZZT" "BZZT" With a slam of his hand, The alarm stopped.
"YES" Chris shouted as he awoke from his sleep, He ran downstairs to see his mother and his father standing there with a large red box beside them. It had been his tenth birthday and he was finally allowed to begin his journey as a Pokémon trainer.
He begged his parents; "Please let me open it, please?" With a sturdy and hardy "Not yet" from his father, his smile turned to a frown.
"You'll have to wait until you go see professor oak to open this" his mother added.
With a bigger grin than before, he grabbed his bad and ran out of the house. Chris ran down the road as fast as he could, yet he didn't get far, for being a small town it was relatively large distance between his house and the professors' lab. It took him a little while but he eventually got there, as he arrived he saw his best friend Andy waiting out front for him, there were a few children in his town but not as many as he would have like, there was him, his best friend Andy, their neighbour Charlie who lived with her uncle on the towns' Apricorn farm and his little brother Rex, the rest of the children had already either went on their own adventure or weren't interested.
"Get out of my way dude" Andy jokingly exclaimed as they both entered the professor's lab.
Charlie had already entered and had been waiting for them, Chris had a preference for Water types with each of them respectively wanting a different type. Charlie loved fire types because of her fiery attitude and determination whereas Andy grew fond of Grass Pokémon from a young age.
"Took you two long enough to get here" Charlie said as they joined her in front of Professor Oak. He greeted them as usual and each gave them a Pokedex.
"This is a poke encyclopaedia, it will automatically record data of all the Pokémon you encounter during your journey. It will also take note of people and places you encounter opponents as well as evolution times" He explained, as always Charlie looked the most confused out of the three but Andy and Chris seemed to understand it with a relative decency.
"Hey old man, when do we get to choose our Pokémon?" Charlie rudely exclaimed still looking mildly befuddled.
"In due time dear children" Professor Oak explained "First I want you three to do something for me, I have hidden three Pokémon capture devices or "Poke balls" around town, each in their respective element, the first one to arrive back here with one of them gets to decide the order in which you choose your starters, and as always they are specially marked so there will be no cheating, an…" Before he could even finish Charlie bolted out of the lab in a mad fury, as soon followed by both Chris and Andy,
"Well I guess they couldn't wait to get going" Oak thought to himself "It's a shame too, I was going to warn them about the Pidgey guarding the Pokeballs.
And off they went. . .
