"You're a drunk."

It was the first sentence Kakuzu heard from his new partner. And was also the most annoying sentence he had ever heard.

"No. I'm not."

"Yes you are."

"I'm not engaging in a futile and pointless argument in which I will just become angry and you will die."

"I doubt that a drunk could kill me but whatever floats your boat."

Kakuzu growled under his breath and walked back to his room. There was no point in continuing when the silver-haired man was just going to be an idiot.

"I still think you're a drunk. I don't know how you do it, but you're always bingeing."

Kakuzu gritted his teeth behind his mask.

"I am not. I'm tired of this comment that is always coming from you. Explain why."

Hidan lifted his hand and ticked his fingers off.

"You're always grouchy. Hangover. Irritable. Hangover. Mask. Hides bad breath brought on by excessive drinking. And, most importantly, your eyes. There can't be anyone on Earth who has red eyes like yours and doesn't binge drink."

Kakuzu breathed deeply.

"There is no point trying to explain anything to you. You have obviously lost something very vital on the road of life and I'm not going to help you find it."

He turned his back on Hidan and continued walking. Hidan followed after a while, bad language resuming.

"I don't fucking know how you don't stagger all over the place."
