A Spark Of Hope

A/N: I have only just watched pirates Of the Caribbean- the Dead Man's Chest. So this is after that movie. Please read and review! 

How could I ever tell him I was sorry? Will had seen me with Jack, proofed it with his very own eyes. I knew I had betrayed him; failed him in every way possible, he had every right to be angry. I missed those big, ocean blue eyes. He had traveled on a different ship to find Jack. His last words, I recalled floating through my mind echoing endlessly "I can tell I bring no happiness to you now, I shall leave and board the other ship in search to find your beloved Jack". He had walked away solemnly forever thinking we were never meant to be together.

As I walk on board the coarse, wooden deck, the sunset blinding on the floor, I think how I could ever explain. It was as impossible as slamming a revolving door. Vultures swoop over the moving ship calling to its family, searching for their nest. Baby vultures follow helplessly after their father.

The captain calls me in for supper as the last of the sunset rests into the horizon. The cold wind blows and sends shivers down my spine as if telling me to go into the warmness of the cabin…the hot fire burning the wood.

I pick up my sword from the days' work and lumber into the cabin filled with cheerful voices echoing through out the Caribbean.

A/N: Sorry if it was short. By the way: this is a one-shot. Please Review, you don't know how much it means to me.  Banana Split for anyone who reviews.
