Prompt #133 (Action) Painting

"Why didn't you ever tell me?" Tears prickled her eyes as she looked at the wall in front of her.

"Didn't think it was necessary at the time." He shrugged as he leaned against the wall; his eyes glued to the side of her face. "I knew that you wouldn't chose me. So I didn't want you to know."

She swallowed the sob that made it's way up her chest. She tore her eyes off the paintings to meet his sad but compassitant eyes. "I should have chosen you. I should have remained strong and chosen you." She whispered as a lone tear rolled down her cheeks.

"I'm actually glad that you didn't." FP replied. "I mean if you and I had gotten married when we were younger; 'Mione. Then; Veronica; Jughead and Jellybean would never be here on earth. I can't imange life without them."

Hermione swallowed. "They should have been our children. Yours and mine. Together. They shouldn't be step siblings; they should be full sibings." Her eyes returned to the painting in front of her. A painting that she knew FP painted when they had been together. Before she had to ruin it by walking away from him.

"We are together now 'Mione." FP finally moved closer to his wife. He slipped his arms around her; pulling her back against his front. Resting his head on her shoulder. "Stop dwelling on past decisions. We found one another again." He kissed her neck. "We aren't going to lose one another ever again." He whispered as his lips drifted up towards the right edge of her chin.

"I love you FP." Hermione whispered as her arms snaked up to meet his crossed arms across her chest. She snuggled back into her husband. "I want to watch you paint sometime."

"You will." FP promised as his eyes turned back to the wall where his paintings from his youth hung.
