During the Read, Frensky, Crosswire, Walters, Armstrong, Morgan, Lundgreen, Compson, Powers, Albertson and Barnes' vacation trip, a lone cruise boat sailed right across the deep blue ocean, and on this cruise boat, began the story sequence.
"Francine, get down from there!" shouted Oliver to his 9 year old daughter, who was lying right across the bowsprit, showing off to her best friend for life and 1 true love, Arthur.
Unimpressed by Francine's behavior, Oliver snapped at her 'til she did what she was told to do.
"Francine Alice Frensky, stop showing off this instant, you're only becoming a terrible influence for Arthur." Oliver snapped at her.
Arthur only scoffed and rolled his eyes.
"Oh please, like I would be so impressed by Francine!" Arthur said to himself in a taunting voice.
Francine stuck her tongue out at Arthur, and he did it back, and the 2 of them began fighting against 1 another, but Oliver got right in the middle of it.
"Now stop that, you 2, you're both 9 years old, so begin acting like it." Oliver scolded both of them.
Francine and Arthur stopped the fighting, but they continued staring at 1 another with angry stares.
"Say you're terribly sorry, Francine." Oliver ordered.
"Why do I need to say the word sorry? he started it." Francine said to him.
"Did not!" exclaimed Arthur.
"Did too!" snapped Francine.
"Did not!" protested Arthur.
"Did too!" exclaimed Francine.
Oliver groaned in exasperation. David noticed Arthur arguing with Francine, and decided to help him out with the bickering Frensky girl and Read boy.
"What's going on around here, Oliver?" he asked him.
"Oh, David, it's just Francine and Arthur shouting arguing again, I'm just trying to get them to apologize to 1 another, but they're not cooperating." Oliver answered him with a heavy sigh.
"Well maybe I can help you out, since Arthur's my son." David said to him.
Both of them faced the squabbling Frensky girl and Read boy and finally managed to speak up.
"Francine, Arthur, if you 2 don't stop shouting and arguing, you're both gonna be grounded for another week!" Oliver exclaimed to them in frustration.
That was all it took to stop Francine and Arthur from shouting and arguing, and Oliver was feeling proud of himself for being stern with his stubborn daughter and her best friend for life and 1 true love.
"Say you're terribly sorry, Francine." Oliver said to her while giving Francine a 'do-it-or-you-are-grounded-for-another-week' look on his face.
Francine scowled and looked right at Arthur grumpily.
"Sorry 'bout that." she muttered to Arthur.
"Arthur, you apologize too, young man." David ordered him, also giving Arthur the look.
Arthur sighed grouchily.
"Sorry 'bout that." he also muttered to Francine.
Both Oliver and David gave satisfied smiling faces.
"Good, you're both free to go right now." Oliver said to them.
Francine gave a loud 'hmmph!' and walked away, and Arthur did the exact same, muttering something under his breath.
Oliver and David both gave an exasperated sigh, and walked away. They spotted Binky on the deck, sharing and nibbling on pretzel sticks and carrot sticks with his good friend and 1 true love, Sue Ellen. They also spotted George playing go fish with Jenna and Buster doing picture drawings with Muffy and Alex and Fern reading poetry. Both of them smiled at the beautiful minute between them.
'If only Arthur and Francine were this nice to 1 another'/they both thought at the exact same time.
