Okay, so I had to write a ballad for my English Strategies class. it could be on anything we wanted. I of course, chose Friends. It has an 8-6-8-6 syllable pattern and an A-B-C-B rhyming pattern. I hope you like it! reviews would be lovely, becuase I'm turning this in for a grade :

A day like all the rest.
On the orange couch sat six people,
Friends, the best of the best.
Chandler Bing quipped sarcastically,
The others were confused.
They didn't always get his jokes,
But Chandler was amused.
Joey came from his audition,
His smile was warm and bright.
"I got the part!" He shouts out loud,
To everyone's delight.
Phoebe sat on the little stage,
Strumming her blue guitar.
"Smelly Cat" was her famous song,
She sang it near and far.
Ross rambled about dinosaurs,
The rest not listening.
It's not his fault he thinks it's cool.
Cool is just not his thing.

Monica has a lovely home,
Oh how she loves to clean.
But she gets quite competitive,
And sometimes even mean.
Rachel went on a shopping spree,

Nothing seemed to fit her right,
So Ross bought her a book.
Ross and Rachel, oh what a ride,
They were on a break!
Chandler and Mon and just so cute,
London was their first date.
People wed and babies are born,
The world just never stops.
But they never fail to take the time,
To sit and have a cup.
