She was not jealous. The cake looked much better green; she was merely helping. Now it matched the … well, the lawn. Besides, green represented fertility, so soon there would be lots of little Asterias running around. Her nose scrunched up in distaste, and she hastily waved her wand over the iced creation. On second thoughts, orange was a much better colour.
She was not jealous. Daphne had lovely legs; it was wrong to hide them under that bridesmaid's dress. The unravelling charm soon fixed that, though.
She was not jealous. No-one wanted boring old blonde hair anyway - Asteria would thank her when she noticed that strip which Pansy had hexed a very individual fuchsia.
She was not jealous. The self-spilling charm on those teacups was to keep the guests warm. Whose silly idea was it to hold a wedding outside in March, anyway?
The guests took their seats and Pansy's gaze drifted onto the most handsome man she had ever known, who was gazing down the aisle with love in his eyes. Asteria met him in front of the minister as Pansy discretely aimed her wand at the canopy above their heads. Oh, alright, then; maybe she was a little jealous.
